Potential issue with Tesco Entertainment checkout process at present.

I added the "Invizimals (Incl. Camera Trap)" product to my basket & upon going forward to the Checkout stage the price for the item was displayed as £29.47.

"Jak [&] Daxter: The Lost Frontier" [PSP] has a similar issue.
It is listed at £8.99, but when at the Checkout it is priced at £20.97.

Is anybody else finding this is happening too?

BFN,

fp.

[EDIT]: Suspiciously, £20.97 is the price at Tesco Entertainment for the PS2 version of "Jak & Daxter: The Lost Frontier". Hopefully the mix-up with the product listings/prices will be be noticed & resolved soon.

em.... looking at the tesco page, it seems to say "including camera trap", as in a trap that works with the camera. Amazon one clearly states "camera AND trap".

I'm not totally sure here, but I would urge caution

edit: although Tesco do have another version of the game elsewhere on the site marked as 'solus' tescoentertainment.com/sto…00/

I appreciate your point but the product listing for the "including Camera Trap" item does show the box with the PSP Go!Cam on the front.

The other listing is labelled the "Solus" version; meaning the PSP Go!Cam is not included.

But yes, always best to check if unsure.

I ordered from Amazon earlier in the week (for the cheaper price) & it is in the postal system (home delivery agent system) at present.

So many good games at great prices this week... and I've still got most of the titles I bought last October/November to open.

From experience based on last year I bought my Christmas gifts way too early as the prices kept on falling all the way up to the week before Christmas. This year I thought I was on to a good price at Amazon until this one came along!

This was in the hot section a little while ago who is voting this cold? HOT!

have some rep too fp!
Im tempted to get one for a couple of reasons, I always fancied a camera for my psp and tesco just gave me a £2 voucher so this seems the cheapest way, plus the game might be entertaining for a little bit!

Does anyone know is this camera as good quality as the normal go cam for psp, it looks very different not just colour, anyone know the quality, if i remember right the original is 1.3mp?

EDIT*
Just ordered one with my £2 voucher £15.96 for a psp camera and a game is a [COLOR="Red"]HOT[/COLOR] deal in my eyes!

It is now dispatching within 24hours too:thumbsup:

:w00t::thumbsup:

Will I be able ti play this with CFW, or will i have to update?? Rep for anyone who knows.

Just to check. The tesco one is WITH the camera bit, yeh?

Same here, was tempted by the £17.99 when it was on amazon, but now when I use my £2 code from Tesco's this brings it down to £15.96, plus the 8% cashback on quidco!

Bargain, really interested in playing with the Augmented Reality in this, and my girlfriend loves Pokemon so great deal all round, thanks!

[COLOR="Red"]Yes![/COLOR]

On the Universal Media Disc is "PSP(tm) Update ver 6.00".

My original PSP-1000 series ("Phat") model is able to use the "PSP-450 x" model camera & game without any issue. This has official Sony System Software installed.

My PSP-2000 series ("Slim & Lite") has "M33" System Software on it ("4.01 m33-2").

The "Camera" XrossMediaBar menu application starts but closes down straight away.

When I try to use the UMD game I see a message:

"The system software of your PSP(tm) system is version 4.01.
To start, you must update to version 6.00 or later.
For update methods, refer to the instructions for the PSP(tm) system."

I do have another PSP-1000 series model with "custom firmware" on it, but I don't see the point in testing with that (unless you would like me to) as this is an earlier release.

PS. The "Camera Trap" is a piece of card within the game box; like the PS3 "EyePet" software "Magic Card" (another "augmented reality" product on the PlayStation console range).

The camera with Invizimals is 0.3mp, works fine with the game, not brilliant for photos.

does anyone know if this includes the camera?

Sorry i am getting totally confused here my son has the psp 3000. does this deal come with the camera he needs. It mentions you using the psp go camera which is the new psp so if i got this would it have the camera or not. its very confusing. (to me anyway)

The model references are confusing.

The PSP Go! Cam (silver) device (model: "PSP-300") was available before "Invizimals" was released. [Note: "300" not "3000"]

The new (black) camera ("PSP-450 x") was issued for this game, but works with the original ("Phat") PSP console ("PSP-1000" series), the "Slim & Lite" PSP-2000 series, & your PSP-3000 series model ("Slim & Brite").

This deal listing refers to the "Invizimals" game & (new, black) "PSP-450 x" camera.

If that doesn't help you, please let me know & I'll try again (without the references).

my sons it the same as yours, we have no camera and no "go" thing.

Is this all we need to buy - is it a game and camera that works with the 3000 ?

(wish my kids were here to ask lol)

Claire as i understand it now thanks to help above, if you have the psp 3000 slim this is what you and me need. it has a camera with it in this deal but the camera is quite poor quality so would only be suitable for this game. As thats all i want it for this is what i am going to get.

Yes, you can buy a better quality camera (called the "PSP Go!Cam"... just to add more confusion; this has nothing to do with the recently released "PSP Go" console).

]ShopTo.net have these at £27.99 presently (but little stock). Other retailers are available (or preferred) & eBay has one listed for £20 if you wish to have a camera that supports a higher resolution.

However, this deal listing is for the "Invizimals" game on Universal Media Disc (UMD) for use with the first three PSP models (PSP-1000; "Phat", PSP-2000; "Slim & Lite", & PSP-3000 "Slim & Brite") AND a camera made available for the game.

When ]QuidCo redirects you to the main Tesco site look at the top of the home page at the 7 boxes...

[Direct] [Groceries] [Wine by the case] [Entertainment] [Clothing] [Phone Shop] [Banking & Insurance]

Hover your mouse over [Entertainment] & click "Entertainment Home".

I think you must have looked at the "Invizimals" product on the ]Tesco Direct site that is £29.87!

BFN,

Ordered mine from Tesco on 23 November and was informed yesterday that they will post today and to allow 14 working days for delivery!!!!!

I ordered the Jak PSP game also, wouldn't have known about that if you hadn't mentioned it on this thread, so big big thanks.
