This is all crapware, scamware, borderline malware though.

"Driver booster" - what? You don't need this. Stuff that needs to be updated (graphics) already has its own update mechanism.

"Folder protector" sounds like just archiving and passwording a folder's contents - you can do this for free with something like 7zip. You can create true encrypted folders / partitions for free with veracrypt. If this "protector" is just setting windows permissions, it's easily bypassable and again, you can just do this yourself easily for free.

The start menu thing sounds like their attempt at start10 or classic shell. Classic shell is easily the most widely used, is open source, and again, free.

"Advanced system care" sounds like a bunch of placebos all rolled into one. The "cleaning" part sounds like they're mimicking CCleaner, which is free. The privacy stuff I assume means deleting cookies, which your browser and/or its add-ons can do for you, for free. The "RAM booster" sounds actively like the reverse of what it's claiming - having empty RAM is a *bad* thing, it means nothing is cached. Modern windows caches and prefetches based on your usage to make everything smoother. If you launch a game and it wants to use 12 of your 16GB of RAM, it can.

"uninstaller pro" - ??? Just uninstall what you don't want. You don't need a program to do it for you. CCleaner has an uninstall feature for windows apps and removing orphaned installer entries if that's a problem. For free.

"Smart defrag" - use defraggler, or just the windows built-in defragger. Free. They all do exactly the same thing.

"software updater" I remember secunia has a free tool that does this, otherwise you can use ninite. Or just do it yourself. Again, critical software updates itself.

IObit are incredibly scummy, they seem to be preying on novice users with scare tactics, making them think they need all these fancy "PRO" tools, hoping users don't realise they either don't need anything like that, or much less scummy free alternatives exist.

If I'm not wrong, this is a 1 year subscription to these software?
I wonder if the renewal price would be the same or some shockingly high RRP.

That said, good price for so much software - I've used some iolo system cleaner before and it was quite good. Have some heat!

You are right - 1 year sub. I've just edited the title to show this
Hot from me plus it seems to be a good way to drum up users - sell them a bundle of your software with 1 year of updates for silly money and hopefully they will find something in that bundle that they will pay full price for at the end of the year.
Heat added, I got this bundle last year £5.49.

Have you made good use of it please or did it just seem like a great idea at the time? If you have worked it to death, have you decided to renew any of the products or are you going to buy this bundle to get another year?

This!

I used this for over 2 years, then I stopped using my computer. Now I'm back and using it again.
Great first post @Deano1200 have some heat!

Tried to buy but they do not like slightly odd email addresses or VPNs, even US VPNs.

Try deleting this software from your computer?????
Terrible software much more hassle than it's worth, we do IT Support and would remove any once of IO bit programs by default as they cause much more issues than they solve.
Heat from me! I was just looking for a CCleaner replacement (dated and lack of features, especially uninstaller not very efficient) and came across IObit comparisons and reviews which looked promising. I decided to give it a try at £23 for pro bundle on their website - so you saved me a £20 Merci
Most IObit stuff is junk but I have used Driver Booster for years. It's been really good for me.
