1TB is available

Ah, sneaky edit.

I have the 1TB drive, got it a few months ago for 70 quid at tesco. Nice quiet Samsung drive in mine, can't fault it.

Personally I would go for this drive comet.co.uk/sho…IVE

With the 10% discount code 10ALLHD it comes down to 53.99.

Also has good compatibility with Wii backups.

What was the model number of the Samsung drive in this WG47, thanks?

If you go via Quidco for that same Staples drive, the price is £60.85!

yes the price is £60.85 but you will get 7% quidco on that price as well

This is also available from the sister company PC World that currently has free delivery, and 3% if you use Quidco.

Is it any good? Comparable to the many others listed on here?

Reviews are mixed.

a few simple questions if anyone can help

i have 250gb of music on my laptop, i urgently need to back it up, just got an i-touch and would like to create mp4 files of my favourite DVDs

If i was to buy this device
1, can i transfer the mp3/mp4 files and then switch off the device for long period.
ie if i don't turn this external drive on for 3 months will files be ready to go and not corrupted or lost

2, can i plug it into any computer and download files, I have music on my dads pc i need to transfer off onto my laptop / music storage

3, if i got a music mini / midi hifi player can i connect this by usb and use it as the hardrive on that assuming its got usb to play music

thanks in advance

You mean a ipod touch?
1. You won't loose data
2. You can plug it into any computer and download files unless it's a MAC (well the one I got wouldn't work with my MAC and I couldn't even get it to format)
3. It should work, depends on what hifi it is.

sold out but currys have it for the same price i thank you :-D
