Great drive for the money, I have the 320GB version. Very fast and plugs in to many on the new routers to act as a wireless storage device.

Works with PC & Mac.

Good price, the picture looks exactly like my external powered one though.

Anyone know(as in they have done it themselves, or know of someone that has done it) if the internal drive can be removed and put in a PS3?

Heat.

Good find, ordered Thanks

Not with this particular drive, but I've done it with another and it will be the same process.

The instructions for changing the drive are in the PS3 manual - but it's dead easy.
You need to backup the PS3 drive (so you might need more than one spare drive).
Unscrew the drive cover on the ps3 and slide out the drive.
Then unscrew this from it's casing,
Insert it into your PS3.
screw the drive cover back on and start your PS3.
Go to "restore" and restore to your nice new drive and start enjoying everything being exactly the same - except you've got a ton more space.

It really was a doddle - there's youtube videos on it to that will walk you right through it.

What model is it, will it go in the PS3, i.e is it 9.5mm thick one?

All gone!

Err, the "other" one is a 3.5inch mains powered hard drive NOT a 2.5inch portable one.

And £45 for one of those is not an especially good deal (when you can get the 1000GB version for around the £50 mark)
