Eglobal central have absolutely shocking reviews on trust pilot

I’m not defending eglobal at all, but have a look at John Lewis on trustpilot too. If you went off that alone, you’d never shop there.

Ipad 2018 is 250 including the 5.99 discount code. Sure you can't send it back but apple provide a 2 week global warranty on all new devices, so just be sure you want it.

Bit short that warranty

This looks like it applies to all apple products. I wonder if you can use the discounts codes with the BNPL offer?
Quote code 10OFF at the checkout when you place an order of £100 or more for £10 back.

From the T&C's:

This can't be used in conjunction with other offers (entering any other promo code apart from MUN4D in checkout will exclude you from this promotion).
I added the code and then selected BNPL - it shows the 'Payment to account' has been applied, and also says '12 months Buy Now Pay Later added to this item Credit only applied to Account on purchase of eligible products'. Like it's going to do both
might ask them later. thanks xp_version1
I'd definitely do that. With the 10% being credited back at a later date it'd be all too easy for the them to say you don't qualify for the offer after you've bought something.
Good price but waiting for the price at eglobal to come down abit more then taking the plunge, currently £259 there ...
I managed to snag the 128gb version for £300 with that 15% ebay code recently. I don't think I could manage with a 32gb version.
How would this compare with a 1st gen ipad air?

It’s much quicker, I recently replaced my wife’s Air & my Air 2 with the 2018. I’ve noticed no difference really but she says it’s a lot quicker

Massive difference. I have the Air1 and 2017 and it's night and day. This is even quicker.

is it worthwhile to wait til WWDC in june to hear what's gonna be released?
Does this BNPL impact people’s credit scores?
Is it new customers only or...?
Debating if it's worth going for the 128gb. What are people's opinions
Great price, terrible customer service

This tablet launched about one month ago. The only new developments in the tablet space come wwdc might be new pro tablets, and that's far from certain.

I got my 2018 iPad from eglobal and have had no issues, was sent via dpd and had a Hong Kong plug (so a UK one)

Ok bought one from eglobal comes with free case at the mo, £329 for 128gb.

I heard screen not as good as my iPad air 2 but should be quicker
RAFAVDV15 h, 53 m ago

It’s a lot better than the air 1, however it’s also a backwards step compared to the air 2. It’s got the same, nonlaminated air gapped screen as your air 1, but misses out on the higher quality screen seen in the air 2. If you can find an air2 that is a better buy imo (remember the screen covers most of the device and is mostly what you use) - unless you really want an Apple Pencil of course.

anyway great price heat added. Nice to see an iPad discount that means you can buy one cheaper without giving any money to those criminals at eglobalcentral.
eglobal is OK with apple products. Apple warrenty is international, they honour it regardless of the purchase country or place.

That's the only reason I'm not upgrading from my Air 2. I want the anti reflective coating on the screen and I'd need to get the Pro for that and I'm not shelling out that much at the moment when my current iPad is perfectly suitable.

Ask me in a couple of years though

I neglected to mention my air screen smashed, it costs a fortune to fix because of its inherent design.

I only use iPad for browsing web, games, Netflix not as a full on productivity device so iPad pro overkill for me.

Just something to chill with - might be just my eyes but I find the anti reflective coating really distracting on my air 2, like a weird purple hue. Also it was struggling with some of the newer more demanding games.

When I consider my Air 2 was £649 this new iPad seems prices really well by Apple

THe missus has an iPad 2 and it's absolutely horrific. This interests me greatly.

The rumours say the pro iPads will likely be updated but in the past it's always been Oct or Nov.

Now that this iPad had pen support it's likely a new differentiator for the iPad Pro is due, which is rumoured to be iPhone x style all screen front. That's what I'm waiting for. I'm still on iPad 3, the slowest one.

I must be lucky then I deleted all the apps I don’t use l switched off background refresh for the remaining apps. I now use it via tethering on my iPhone to watch Netflix etc when out and about in a coffee shop. I also use it with the Apple camera 30 pin connection kit to access SD cards when out with my digital camera. It appears to have a new lease if life and I will be adding Kindle app to it so I can read books. Remarkably it still holds the charge pretty good. Reports of its death have been greatly exaggerated

Haha i'm still on my iPad 2, there's nothing wrong with it. Yeah it can't always play the latest games and is a bit slow, but for Netflix, internet, music and email it's great!
