No deals on the £399 iPad air. :-(
ipad now days is just selling only for its name (brand). other than that there are plenty of other tablets in the market that offer value for money and better performance than ipad.

I have never been an Apple fan. I bought my daughter an iPad Mini 16GB for xmas and that cost me around the £220 mark. Saw this and its a good price and after using the 16GB tablet the quality is there compared to other ones and have had no problems at all. Everyone has their own opinion I just posted what I thought was a deal not a technology debate!
Bought one thanks

just checked £299 grade B lol can get new Amazon £349 new!
appologies my mistake..
i think cheapest is play.com
Would love to see a more of a price drop on the ipad air now. Knowing apple the ipad air 2 will be released this year some point at a sky high price.
If you are considering this then you really should look at Samsung's Galaxy Tab 3 8.0. At £129 and with a better screen, SD card slot and IR remote its great value. The gold version looks quite smart though not as polished as the iPad.

I think it has aged as much as you in that time, lol, and is cheaper!
The whole app debate is dead in the water. All of the major apps are now developed for ios and Android. Maybe ios has more variants of flappy bird than Android? Bottom line comes down to personal choice based on a number of parameters, cost, design, etc etc I don't know why posters have to endure these playground arguments. Horses for courses. Heat from me btw!
Hmm. I'd assumed that this hasn't aged well comparative to other rival models. £20 for an extra 16GB? An pretty decent deal I guess, if you really want an iPad Mini
cold not retina

Yeah, when all said and done, it is old tech.

Imagine if someone posted something with Android 3.x ?

An Android 3.x what? All I wanted was a decent tablet for my 9 year old not a technology debate. Wont bother posting anything again with all this negative feedback when all I am trying to do is do you a favour!

Chill out !

I just bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 for a 6 year old so I know where you're coming from.

However, don't throw the dummy out of the pram

The tech debate is endless. There is no perfect answer but the freedom here allows people to make throwaway comments which provoke responses, good, bad and indifferent.

It is old tech but the new tech price hasn't moved much. Alternatives (Android) are far cheaper and though I was hesitant giving one to a child, so far, it is as stable and useful as the ipad retina she currently uses as well.
Thanks, thats the daughters birthfday sorted
Awesome deal; just bought for the wife's birthday!
