Apple sometimes have an event in October, but I can't find any concrete dates online. They may or may not update the iPad Pro line. This model was announced October 2018 but they're not usually updated annually.

Silver is £599.99.
Next best price is £730 at Currys I believe.

Next best price is £564.99 from tobydeals from what I see. I wouldn't buy from either seller. Far too people not getting their order and having to make claims on PayPal and credit card.

Ah, hadn't checked Tobydeals, it's not a site I use to be honest, but thanks.

The benefit of eGlobal is that you can make those claims. Personally, considering you save about £200 I'd take the risk. Worse case scenario the item arrives damaged or not at all and you get your money back.

This said, I'm not in the market yet and I'm waiting to see if there is an October Event/announcement but I'll still probably go for this model if/when I come to upgrade.
There is a good chance that you will receive a Japanese (?) model, which simply means that you will not be able to disable the camera shutter sound and will also get a non-UK plug. I think they throw in an adapter, although I wouldn’t personally trust that.

Experiences vary that it's a US/EU/Japanese model; whichever it is they include an adapter but I personally would just use any other Apple USB plug. I have plenty... but yeah the shutter sound thing could be annoying for those that use the ipad for it's camera.
Heat added, Toby deals are banned from hukd, so by far this is the best price.

I thought they were but sometimes things change, so yay thanks. Could do with some hot votes, it got up to 40+ and then dropped back down to about 20. I don't particularly care either way, but, I expected it to be hotter because it's not been much cheaper than this and certainly not often.
Seen it and wanted to pull the trigger, but Apple was supposed to announce a refresh this month, and I'm sitting here waiting for weeks

I'm in a similar boat. I'm also waiting till after my trip to Germany and car MOT, and paid for some house stuff that needs paying for.

The previous iPad Pro release dates haven't been annual, so it isn't 100% going to be updated, and at this price I don't think you'd be losing out on much BUT I understand why you'd want to wait.

Oct 9 - "Apple will launch a new iPad Pro with a rear-facing 3D Time of Flight camera in the first quarter of 2020, according to a new report out today from Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo and seen by MacRumors."

If Kuo correct, and he's supposed to be fairly reliable, highly unlikely Apple would release Ipad Pro's from October event and again in first quarter of 2020.Kuo said way back (April I think) that the Ipad Pro's would go into production last quarter of 2019 or first quarter of 2020. I dont think Kuo would risk making an statement on Oct 9 if he wasnt pretty sure that October wasnt happening. Only a week or so to wait for any October event annnounced by Apple. I think they send out invites 7-10 days prior to event.

I'd seen that rumour of the spec. Thanks for sharing. I would edge my bets that it'll be updated around March 2020 but for the sake of 2 weeks I'd personally wait anyway. I'm sure this price will be available again.

Maybe I'll bite then, camera update isn't worth it anyway, but I was waiting since the update seemed 'just around the corner'. Not anymore.
How is eGlobal with their delivery times?

GearBest, Ali Express, eGlobal always get mixed reviews. You either get brilliant service or appaling. I've suffered a bit of both with Ali Express BUT I've always been covered and managed to get any issues rectified. eGlobal have been fine for me, and like I have swaid, just cover yourself.

Delivery-wise, I think within 2 weeks. Some report about 6 days quite frequently but the time of year can often affect that. I always expect 5 weeks and anything less is a plus.

Add it to your basket and see what delivery estimates they quote

Let me know if you partake

IMPORTANT RESTRICTION FOR iPHONE, iPAD, APPLE TV and HOMEPOD SERVICE.

Apple may restrict warranty service for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and HomePod to the country where Apple or its Authorized Distributors originally sold the device.

Has anyone out there had a grey import accepted by Apple for warranty repair?
Apple store in Edinburgh confirmed that you would be expected to return any grey import under warranty to the country where Apple or its Authorized Distributors originally sold the device. Probably be without your iPad for over a month. Not sure how you would arrange for Apple to post it back but knowing Apple, it won't be cheap whatever they charge you for postage and packaging costs.
Guys stay away from this company. I have ordered a mobile phone and never received it. They send me email saying that your parcel got lost and they only refunded £10.
so I opened a dispute on Paypal at 30th of September and still fighting to get my money back.
So be careful

Curry's usually fdo good trade in deals, offering £100 for any old tablet that switches on towards an ipad.
They haven't had this for a while so I'm hoping they will do something on black Friday
