Wonder who's buying these. I can imagine some early adopter artists ditching WACOM and some CAD engineering guys. Who else though?

Will it mainly be used in technical fields or are consumers buying them to watch and browse on to? Can't imagine that.

*slowly raises hand*

I may or may not have impulsively bought one via a Cyber Monday Deal. X)

Although, I did need a new iPad anyway as my current iPad's already 3 years old. Thought I'd treat myself to something new as the regular iPad didn't get an update this year.

I got one the day it was launched (128gb in gold) and will be using it for web browsing, emails, watching videos and video editing. My previous iPad was the air 2.

The main selling point for me was just the fact it has a bigger screen, any why not,it looks absolutely stunning !

Also purchased the smart keyboard and a Smart Cover, not interested in the pencil, but that said I'm being given one for free from Apple as a good will gesture, long story.

I bought one 128 GB Space Grey ....replaced my Ipad Air (1) which I sold for £300...plus I got this in Malaysia so only £650 there...amazing video...audio is best I've ever heard on any laptop of tablet....well worth the money...I also purchased the Smart Cover in Charcoal and the Pencil...and the whole lot cost me less than the UK 128GB pad.

Also just reviewed/tested the Create for Logitech which is an amazing keyboard...here's my review below for anyone interested

Don't like Windows and prefer touch screen tablets to laptops.

I still think the weight and size of this keyboard is more of an issue for some, as it makes the overall weight and size of the pro similar to a mac air.
What really put me off buying one, apart from owning a mini and a air 2, was the fact that the pencil is £80 and the case £140 so it's nearly £1000 for a tablet when I could get a somewhat decent gaming pc for that kind of money.

Personally for me sextube looks amazing when zoomed. Also the speakers really put you in the centre of all the action. Careful through your fiance can hear through the bathroom door so best bring headphones.

If this had a full OSX it would be amazing. However I think apple is saving that for the model next year.

Well it is the OS that cripples the iPad pro. It has the hardware and apps, just no decent inherent file management.

Apple could go a number of directions with the OS,s but I can't see them really doing something awesome and releasing OSX on the iPad pro. I'd love to see that, but a pipe dream methinks.

I completely agree, whilst I think the ipad pro has enough raw power to handle osx, in doing so apple would effectively get rod of the one thing they help create - a distinction between tablets and laptops. Why would anyone buy their laptops which are increasingle lower and lower powered when you can buy their tablet and get the full touch OSX experience? Also this is apple they don't like to give their users everything, they always hold back. So yeah, you're right.

I think that if you ever have a need to do two things at once/use iOS 9 multitasking, this would be the better choice for the consumer too as opposed to the air 2.
I'm watching the Adobe creative jam this week and getting to see the iPad Pro and the Surface Pro and the Cintiq Companion in use by artists/developers - it's making interesting viewing and there is no clear preference - the Cintiq and Companion have the advantage of being able to use full versions of software rather than the mobile versions of the Adobe apps for example. I am undecided yet - have gadget envy!

I had a feeling this would get cold, I'm assuming they are down voting using their new £35 Kindle Fire. Enjoy your iPad pro if you are lucky enough to get one

Not really sure why this isnt hot, or at least above 0.
I prefer android myself, however surely this is the best deal around for this particular device.
