Phones don't deserve that price tag anymore, extremely over inflated. Handset tech isn't moving on much and the dame tech should be sub 500 max now. Forget Apple

Unfortunately you rarely get rewarded for loyalty.
No way this should be cold.
That’s a really good deal on the total 2 year price for the new iPhone 11 (with decent storage gb) and plenty of data. Heat.

I know I don’t want special treatment but for sake of £60 they would rather loose me as a customer... feel like sticking my fingers up & going over to 02

Maybe the best price for the phone, but north of £1000 for heaven’s sake! Reckon that’s what did it, albeit I haven’t voted.

I think you are right as to the reason of the cold temperature, but bottom line is (for others) who are voting cold if someone wants a new iphone 11 then this really is quite a good deal (regardless of whether they think phone is overpriced in the first place).
It is only my or all iPhone deals are overpriced as f**k if you compare them to Android phones?

IPhones are overpriced but they also keep their value for much longer than Android based phones.
Cold.... just because I can!

maybe these are the people who actually hate apple and iPhones. Well that k can't change. They are expensive. Well that I can't change. Thanks for your comment mate.
This isn't a bad deal at all, -200 odd? If someone wants an iPhone then this is a very good deal, contracts are working out around £9 a month - something on sim only after some serious haggling would be around £15 a month - so that could be worked out as a further £120 off the phone price.

You think? I've seen Amoled HD phones with more ram, battery and triple cameras at the back for 150. Apples charging these prices for a rubbish 720p screen, low battery and ram because people won't wake up and stop buying it. If we stop buying their rubbish phones, they'll give more bang for our buck.

I hope you haven't gone ahead with this contract. Quite frankly pal, this phones terrible. I just switched from the iPhone XR (only diff is extra camera in 11). Its got a low resolution 720p LCD panel which is annoying as hell outside and its not clear, battery life's kinda okay, and the huge notch is annoying.

Just bought my first android a month ago, their new android 9 is on par with iOS, I saved a load of cash and the phone triumphs this one. I got the Huawei P30, its screen is so much clearer and brighter, battery life's insane and the cameras way better too, same size as my iPhone XR!

My mrs got the Samsung A80, if you don't mind phones a bit big, that's a real stunner, looks futuristic its all screen, no holes in the front and takes amazing selfies with the pop up camera.

Save your cash, its really not worth paying this amount for this crap. If you really have to, ring EE and ask for a PAC code, they'll give you an amazing deal the next day

Yeah the phone sucks, its basically the iPhone XR renamed with a newer chip. Save your money, don't support this nonsense LCD panel screen that isnt suitable for daytime and buy a Huawei P30 or if you got the money the OnePlus 7 Pro. Thoses phones are truly stunning. Just switched from iPhone to the huawei p30

Yes because you're paying 500 quid extra for a brand. These specs - the 720p LCD screen (sucks in daylight), the low ram and small battery is about 100 quid on Android. Switch to android you won't regret it, I did recently

Yeah sorry pal. I voted cold because it was an LCD panel 720p phone on for 1000 quid over 2 years. I don't discriminate against android or apple, but this is extremely overpriced. If it was for the pro for same price it would be hot

most phone changes are due to your phone breaking. And let's say you do keep it in perfect condition.. This cost you like what? 600 quid for a 720p LCD (very poor contrast and brightness in sunlight) low ram and battery phone. You can get android Full HD amoleds screen with triple cameras at 150 quid benchmark. Its a rip off. Stop supporting this crap, its why apple keep pulling it

I have a Apple se atm & if I’m honest I don’t like the size of Xr-11 feels to big in my hand or the price tag.
I am In desperate need of a new phone I’ve got a massive black blob in the corner that’s getting worse... how much we talking for the phone your going on about I’ve never heard of them?

Essentially 720p or close enough once you account for the notch if you want I can call it 828p its still a long ways from Full HD...this device would scale to 720p. Even budget devices have full HD LCD. Like I'm talking 100 quid budget. Stop defending Apple's bs - so they'll make better phones
mark07720/09/2019 10:44

800p display for more than £700 is a big

Not really. The pixel density is fine. Yes, it could be higher but in terms of the rest of the display it's best in class so much so it's far better than the cheaper OLEDs.

No, not essentially 720p, 1792×828.

In terms of pixel count it's almost exactly halfway between 720p and 1080p so no, not a long way from at all. Those budget devices have displays that are far inferior to iPhone 11's despite the slightly higher resolution.

You're a spec guy but don't even pay attention to any other specs aside resolution - and even then you get them wrong lol

There's no content in 828p and its not even full 828p, the notch takes out a significant portion of even that small resolution.

Far inferior? You're joking that video was an absolute joke. They purposely chose a screen with significantly lower nits. The pocofone isn't exactly known for its brightness or nits.

You keep convincing yourself that your non-HD LCD phone is worth 729 quid its because of idiots like you that Apple is a trillion dollar business. They're ripping people off, much cheaper phones even have AMOLED technology. No point talking to you, keep getting ripped off, make sure to also buy a Macbook Pro top, top specs there, such value

Technology's been stagnant because idiots like you keep supporting Apple through thick and thin. Also my exact point was higher resolution... You'd be hard to find 100 quid phones without full HD resolution displays. In terms of brightness there's always stuff like the LG G7 and what not which dwarfs iPhone's 11.

We're getting nowhere, dumb argument, you can't admit a basic fact that a 828p LCD screen in 2019 costing 729 quid is a rip off when there's cheap AMOLEDs on for 100-150 quid range. I'm off lad, go get ripped off.
