You have to port to another network and then port back to ee

Yes I have had to go through that trouble before. Guessing this is an essentials plan and no 5g
this has been passed to hukd by affordable mobiles, hence the unique discount code, so anyone thinking EE will match this, its hiiiiiiighly unlikely.

Oh I didn’t know that, what about the pro
Not bad but would there be further discounts on black Friday?
Cheap as! Ordered
Mate of mine managed to get this but with 100Gb data direct with EE for £41. He is an existing customer anddid take it out x 2 though so not sure whether that made a difference!
That’s a stonking deal. Gutted I got my EE contract out last month for way more 😩
Good deal, voted hot. I went for a 128gb iPhone 11 for £36 per month and £175 upfront. A little extra cost but prefer the extra storage
The thought of being stuck with a non 5g iPhone for the next 2 years can be very daunting
I'm waiting for Black Friday now!!! And I really want to move to Vodafone entertainment deal.

explain, please, as im not familiar with what will happen when 5g arrives
don't get why everyone is fussed about 5g. I've never needed to wait for a video to load on youtube or Netflix on my BT 4G plan. OR wait for anything to load in fact. I can't imagine the 5g speed and what the fuss about 5g is about. Most people won't need that type of speed right now. And it will take ages for the infrastructure to be rolled out plus all this thing about health concerns doesn't make it that appealing to me. I have 70mgs fibre optic at home and my BT 4G plan is just as fast. Cant see the need for 5g unless you get into VR or some mega gaming.

Sorry sir... I am not technical enough to explain that additional "G". All I know was 5G is already here

I think 5G is more to ease congestion on the network but the gimmick is the speed. If you set foot in to London these days, even though you’re on 4G the smallest tasks seem to struggle. Supposedly the range on 5G sucks as well so unless you’re directly under a mast you probably won’t connect to it. I think it’ll be a couple of years before we see widespread coverage outside of the major cities anyway.

It was from buymobiles.net. Also get £31.50 topcashback if that helps
Got this 3 days ago but paid the £40 upfront 🙈🙈

It's been posted with a different retailer called Fonehouse:

This deal has gone cold for some odd reason, despite being the same cost effectively as this deal plus £50 odd for the extra 64gb storage

I live in London. And work in central London. Apart from some spots the city and Canary Wharf during weekdays I’ve never had any issues. Could easily get Away with 40megs up to 70mgs out and about in London.
As these plans are sold via a third party do they receive the same ‘service’ as EE direct customers?

As someone else said, you can just port your ee number to another network on PAYG and then port it back , I've done it a few times
If you're already on EE would there be a credit check if you went for this?

The question was specifically regarding transferring the number from the existing contract to the new one, which is only possible on O2 without doing a triangular number port

Potentially, yes
Any idea when the deal/voucher code expires?

How long do you have to switch for, just a few days or a whole month?

Looking at this deal for Xmas present and I doubt it will get much cheaper than this given RRP of the phone.

Just a few days, you port to PAYG and then port straight back, if you did the first port on a Monday I see no reason it couldn't be ported back by Thurs that seem week , possibly earlier
This deal is now even better! You can get 75gb data. Op can you change the description? I didnt want to start a new posting because you had already found the deal
Still holding firm on Black Friday - data costs these companies nothing, Shirley prices are going to drop.
I'm holding out for Black Friday too. I think prices will drop a couple of quid a month, or the 128gb will be on offer at this sort of price

Wife spoke to Vodaphone a few days hours ago, they have basically said they will be doing ‘deals’ like they did last year on the XR... whatever that means.
