Update 1
*IMPORTANT* - ordered from Ebay Currys in the last up to 24 hours?

It seems Ebay Currys had their payment details altered by a 3rd party which means payments for their products have not gone to Currys. Members are waiting for an update but if you have any concerns you will need to speak with your payment provider.

Cheapest price around from a high street name. Curry’s sold by and new item.

Midnight green also available:

Just read through the other page. It’s shocking how this is being handled.

eBay - informed yet the scam is still active
Currys - informed yet apparently don’t care
HUKD - deleted several deals leaving the buyers clueless, and on this one still haven’t edited the OP to make clear it’s a scam and remove links.

Poor poor show all around...
Looks like Curry's taking full advantage of the £1 maximum selling fees!

Interesting, the listing description shows £1049. Pricing error maybe?

But it will affect resale value if you buy 4G iPhone today and iPhone 12 next year is 5G .

Now has me questioning if it’s been hacked potentially...? I mean I’m pleased I put it on credit card and PayPal now...
New Manufacturer Sealed
There is an intact manufacturer's seal, and the item is brand new and pristine.

Some product boxes are unsealed as supplied by the manufacturer, these are still brand new, pristine, and listed as "New". -> just be aware of this

Items listed as "New" come with 12 months Currys/PC World Outlet warranty. -> may not have full 12 month Apple warranty??

I’ve just bought one and I’ve had a message to confirm that I’ve sent a payment to Shuel Rehman Salique. I checked on my PayPal and it doesn’t say curry’s. Anyone else had this?

I started to get a little concerned as well. Every time I tried going directly to the PC World eBay Store I was being asked to login again, which has never happened before. URL was a bit odd with a random number and .icu after the ebay url (and before any /) - I was starting to suspect it wasn't the proper ebay site.

At that point I decided to close browser, reopen and change my password! Maybe paranoid but something didn't seem right.

The link that you click on which requests you to relog in is not actual ebay link. You will have had your password captured by whoever owns that fake link.

Yep... thank goodness I use unique passwords for every site! Fortunately I realised what was happening within a few seconds and quickly changed password from the real eBay site.
So how many of you got scammed ? What's PayPal saying
