Hot Deal but it's with three, so it's as cold as Antarctica.

64gb is a bit meager these days
Ironic that this deal is promoted by a company called affordable mobiles
Decent price but three treated me pretty poorly this year despite being with them for years and years, so I'll be jumping ship.

Hopefully they don't turn around and say its a glitch.

seems about the right price when the phone on its own is £799 to buy

Check coverage I unfortunately changed to 3, there's vitually no coverage for about five miles near me, I'm half a mile from the M20 in Kent
Come on is it that much better than the last iphone? Will anyone notice the difference?

Bit of a letdown that Apple increased price to 800 but didn't increase storage to 128gb

Cos they want you to go Pro for £999 128GB and £50 cheaper then iPhone 11 Pro last year.

OLED screen is the biggest deal as you’re looking at it all of the time. For me I can tell a huge difference between my 11 pro OLED and my wife’s 11 LCD.

£36/month 50GB with EE no upfront and i'll bite
Expecting another hukd exclusive deal

Great deal! Been with 3 for years so not a massive issue for me.

Do make sure you add your promo code in the basket first! You wont have option to add at the end (which I almost did... lol )

Agree that's why i bought my wife an XS instead of a normal 11 . This isn't a massive leap to justify the price IMO

Care to elaborate? Ok it's got faster chip etc. But is it a revolution. Will it make a massive difference to how people use the phone?

Don’t buy it then

Don't worry I won't. Nice enough phone for those wanting apple, just think for £800 apple could be a little more generous.

Exactly what I was thinking heat added for the price but I wouldn’t touch three again if they were the last provider in the country.

Very true. If you buy it you should be happy in the knowledge that it’ll be fully supported with updates for 5 years at least. Bargain.
For those saying about 64gb not being enough. You can use the code against the 128gb version. Brings the up front cost from £279 down to £229. Total cost over 24 months £1,045 so if you minus the handset cost you have a 100gb sim for £8.16 a month.
What about 12 pro ?

It's got 5G (if you're in an area and this contract is for 5G too I assume), OLED screen (same as Pros), better camera (not sure how much of a noticeable jump from an 11 it will be but it will be from a X or XS)

So as you can see it's quite subjective and depends which phone you're coming from if it's an X or XS you will notice more than from an 11.

Also we have no idea except the apple website stats on battery life and that's a major concern for me right now as above everything else it's something I can't compromise on.

No it doesn’t. The whole point of a smartphone is to upgrade after several years so you notice a bigger difference. Upgrading anything from an iPhone X/XR/XS to a 12, you won’t see much difference other than speed and a slight camera bump. 5G is pretty much still nonexistent. So that shouldn’t be a reason.

Interesting, in what way did they treat you poorly? I'm curious because the whole family have three sims and we've all recently had texts saying our current sim only deals end and they'll be moving us on to more expensive deals if we do nothing.
I'm seriously considering this (but the 128GB version) but I'm on SMARTY sim free at the moment having been on EE and the signal is just not as good. The coverage is there but the speeds and reliability isn't the same.

One alternative is getting the finance through Apple to pay the £850 over 24 months in equal instalments and a sim only 12 month contract on EE so it works out as £1,090 - £45.42 per month but is a bit of hassle(and the EE contract isn't 5G) . Has anyone had any experience with Apple Finance, is it easy enough to obtain and is it looked on more harshly that a normal contract by credit rating agencies and the like?

Yes. Totally agree I will be updating from a 7 I have had since launch. ( which is still working well) if indeed I choose to upgrade.

I’ve had the same letter through the post, stating my current sim only deal is being discontinued so I either need to pay twice as much as I currently am or cancel my account.

Just been on live chat and they were useless so have just received my PAC code.
