They clearly don't understand the fee structure for the cult of Apple
Doesn't sound normal. Check the description of their conditions? Message them if you think there's been a mistake
Thanks but I'm not looking for a phone, it was to the post that was shocked at the price of a used "old" model iPhone.
Personally it's through choice and not cost the reason I don't buy Apple products, it's normal for me not to buy items I don't like.
Honor decent phone but had a mate 20 pro for 3yrs which I still rate better even today lol
Not for the price. I just want to know about the bionic functions of this phone. What are they?
The resale value thing is a total myth, don't buy into it - hasn't been true since Apple started pushing the phones over the £1k new barrier. Buy the phone because it's the one you want and you will enjoy using it. After just a year, the XS series were down about 60% from new prices, same with the 11 and if you look at Samsung, etc. you'll find the same there. People are tired of manufacturers taking the **** with RRPs on handsets and prepared to keep their phones longer too.
State of the iPhone market now, you can get a good XR for around £180, XS around £220, 11 under £300, 11 Pro under £400. Meanwhile Samsung S20s are still around £300, S10s around £200, Note 20 Ultras still £550 - there really isn't a huge gap in depreciation which was the case maybe 5 years ago.
Bionic just means it has SoC space dedicated to neural networks, AI, facial recognition, etc.
Ok. So marketing guff.
Yeah kind of! It’s mostly for the Face ID stuff on phones that support it and I believe it plays a part in some computational photography stuff too - but while they’re good chips, they’re not generations or years ahead of the Snapdragons or equivalent, no matter what Apple claims.
Still using mate 20 pro and struggling to find an upgrade.
I'm now on Oppo find X3 Neo after trying a OP8 and Xperia 1 ii after my mate 20 pro.
This one feels like an updated mate 20 pro so I'll probably stick with this one but I'm not sure upgrade is the correct term as it's such a good phone today.
This is what is written on the listing:
'Excellent - This product is in excellent cosmetic condition with a minimum battery health of 85%. This item has been fully tested, restored to factory settings and is in excellent working order.'
I messaged two days ago but it's christmas so not expecting a quick reply. My daughter has been saving up for this phone and the 20% off offer was the only way she could afford to buy it.
"Excellent" should never include scratched screen/camera.
Wouldn't even consider that to be 'Very Good'
Sounds like me in my Android days, permanently shopping for the next handset every couple of months.
Own a P30 Pro. Nothing has been released as of yet that makes me even consider an upgrade (and, for once, the battery is still going strong!).
I'd love to have an excuse to upgrade to some great new tech... but the market has been stale for a few years.
(Voted hot for this - good price for the device on offer, given standard pricing)
Keep an eye on Cheapest_Electrical on the bay. They always have good phones coming in and out of stock.Even grade C would be better than anything from MM in my experience.
It's first time I've ever swopped before contract up, Xperia 1 ii slender profile was too sore to hold with my athritic hands, OP 8 had no WiFi calling for me.
I'll keep this until upgrade due in August 22
Problem is replacing a mate 20 pro which could do all the things 3yrs ago that Apple are making a big thing of on the latest lol Most of the users of that phone have the same problem
P30 Pro owners having the same dilemma
Director mode for example old news lol
I was worried about the battery life when I switched to the 12 pro but have been pleasantly surprised I can get 1.5-2 days out of a full charge. Although I’m not on social media all day everyday so will probably improve battery life
I'm a moderate user and could barely manage a day without top-up. Standby is ok but the battery is comparatively small for the phone size and the display and 5G (in particular) sucks up a lot of power - I do use 5G maybe that's the difference.
I'm still on my mate 20 pro. I love it but I think the battery is starting to go. Not 2 days like it used to be. My sister just got the iPhone 12 and it is nice, but seems like a rip off compared to my Huawei which i got for 399 in 2019
