More like it was done like that to appear more legit with some sells.

Bought a pink 128GB for my wife on the last eBay promotion from same seller and was spotless.

I agree. Faults are so common with these sellers.

Makes me laugh when I see ads like this on eBay. Much prefer to buy from sellers with 100% honest listings. Just say, “I got it, opened it, messed with it for an hour and then got buyer’s remorse.” Or could be that they don’t want to risk the buyer saying they received an empty box.

Agreed, this is in small seller with less than one year's company history, either HUKD don't care anymore or they're still hung over from new year's celebrations

Not that much of a bargain if you have an access to employee perks..
Bought mine (256gb pro) with 7% discount on currys vouchers and it costed me around 975. No funny business with opened boxes and risk of dodgy sellers.

Well.. So far I had rather positive experiences with them. But it looks like I was fortunate if it comes to that, but still.. I would be keener to get it from Currys than from any of ebay sellers, especially if their reviews are not the greatest. That’s me though.

Purchased this phone recently and it's my favourite phone ever along with the S7 Edge some years back, and believe me, I've gone through a lot! It's just a perfect size. Great for watching content on but not so big like some phones to be genuinely uncomfortable to hold or to carry in your pocket.

How did you manage to purchase with gift cards?It only gives the option to pay by credit/debit card and when I asked currys they said you can’t purchase mobiles with gift cards? Thanks

Sorry, I’ve actually mixed it up as I was hunting for a while due to availability of the phone. I’ve actually ended up buying it from Argos, and I’ve bought my Mrs apple watch from Currys hence confusion. So you may be right claiming that phones cannot be bought from Currys with vouchers only.
Try Argos then, that worked fine for me. I’ve ended up paying £4 from my credit card and the rest I’ve paid with vouchers I have purchased/had already.

Sorry about that, after festive period I barely remember what was bought where. 🤪

Going to cut some slack here for these guys. Bought a 13 Mini from them a few weeks back. Was exactly as described and in perfect condition. I sent it back as it was too small for me and got a prompt refund without any issues.
