So carphone warehouse are offering some cracking deals on the iphone 4s. There are alot so im only going to post a few here:
Vodafone 24 months - 100mins, unlimited texts, 100mb data - £14.50 per month.

Talkmobile 24 months - 500 minutes, 5000 texts, 500mb of data - £15 per month or upgrade the data to 1gb for £17.50 per month.

O2 24 months - 500 mins, unlimited texts, 500mb of data - £18 per month.
None of these have any upfront costs.
The £17.50 talkmobile one looks good.

Im guessin that £348 hukd stuck at the front of my post is killin it abit. I cant get rid of it and although after a 2 year contract that is what you would spend, for 500mins, 500mb and 5000 texts for the contract alone you wouldt be spending much less.

I think aswell because it's quite a old phone now, that might contribute to the cold votes

Yh i guess so, i thought £15 a month with all that stuff and a free iphone was a gd deal. Think i mite be the only one though lol. Hopefuly atleast one person will get something good from the post.

I quite like the time lapse Video on iOS8, well I thought it was time lapse video. It turns out, with iOS8, the iPhone 4s is just super slow motion doing anything.

Considering that same sort of deal for the sim could be gotten outright for £10 per month with no tie in and sim free before any cashback is considered I suspect is part of the lack of cold votes.

Then adding to this that it's 2 years of a tie in for a phone released on October 2011, it's already gunning for being a 3 1/2 year old phone, by the time the contract runs out it will be well over 5 years old and long since left in the dust by Apple and likely a lot of apps left unsupported well before that time.

Also it being the 8gb model wont help matters as online suggests anywhere from under 5gb of free space to just over 6gb. Which a few videos and photos will quickly eat into.

If it was me, I'd consider the Sim Free option at £199 (probably cheaper elsewhere) and get a cheap sim deal for a year and enjoy it. The use the option of having no ties to get rid of the phone at that time when another deal on a newer model appeared. Selling the old phone for around £100 to fund the upgrade.

Errr, not helping your justification there as all those deals are more expensive........ and I don't even rate the deal.

I was looking at this type of deal for my mother. If you look hard enough to you can get it for £9 p/m 100 mins, 100 data unlm txts. That's seems a bargain. Few pound more for 500 mins/data.

As long as u don't need it for any apps or music. Just not enough storage and latest operating system takes up loads of the mb it does have

Note that it is likely ios 8 is the last ios version this phone will get so on a 2 year contract you will be stuck with an out of date version for most of the contract period. I'd rather take a chance on a well supported Android device than the 4S at this price like the Moto G2 or a Windows Phone if you don't care about Apps.

Guys this isnt a debate about how good the phone is, if ios 8 is a problem just revert it back to ios 7, its about finding the best/ cheapest deal of the phone, so far ive not seen anyone post anything cheaper...

i take that back, theres a software out there called irevert which makes the process fairly simple

8gb memory and 500mb data per month. couple of good apps a few albums, the odd snap shot & stream a video clip. Storage full and no (non wifi) internet till next month.
Yeah right bargain.

8GB of storage isn't enough for most people nowadays, and I doubt this will get any further iOS updates, so unless you desperately need an iPhone, an android/windows phone would probably be a better option.
