Cheers, I will use that when I buy mine!

Good offer have some heat

Bought a Grade A Galaxy S4 last week from these guys, parcel arrived next day. Bespoke packaging and no charger, just a third party USB lead, but for the price it was excellent. Great if you want a phone cheaper than RRP, but bear in mind if you are buying as a gift

I dont see iphone 5. Theres only 4 and 4s -_-

The oldest iPhone 5 will have a warranty with Apple until 21 September 2013, before which you can extend the warranty another year for around £40 from eBay.

I wouldn't worry about a 60-day warranty anyway.

If it was to have a fault, it's far easier to take it to Apple and let them fix/replace than it is to send it off.

The warranty will be a year from Apple and the 5 wasn't released until 21st Sept 2012, so you have at least two months of Apple warranty too.

I believe that manufacturer warranties are only valid on new items purchased from an approved retailer. They wont be accepted on second hand or refurbished phones.Proof of purchase is always needed. This 60 day warranty would be with the retailer not with Apple unless otherwise stated.

I have had a couple from this site for family members (4 and 4S) and it seems pot luck with grade c, some are bad and some are really nice with a few spots on the back. Having said that they offer free returns.

Each grade goes up in price by about a tenner, if I was paying £350 for a phone I'd probably spend the extra £10 or £20 to 'upgrade' if its in stock. Reading reviews, alot of their grade a stuff is brand new.

Nope. That's not true. Proof of purchase is never needed with Apple.

It doesn't matter who, where or when you purchased it. Apple will be able to check the warranty related to it's build number.

Ten more of your British pounds for an S4 - just saying...

I had a grade A phone from these guys before. It had a scratch across the screen. Put me off them although the return was hassle free.

£360 for a 2nd hand phone? No thanks.

That's £10 more and there's only 2 in stock.

OK, so they dont need proof because they can prove it themselves. Are you saying though that they will still repair if your not the original purchaser. ie you can buy a second hand unit from Ebay & they will still give you warranty. If that's true then I am astounded by this truly amazing service.

I don't agree that proof of purchase is always needed at apple store. I have obliterated two iPhone 5s so far and had both replaced in apple store with no proof of purchase.

I wouldn't call Grade A no scratches. Bough a phone few days ago from them, and even though overall it looks good, it has minor scratches on the screen. (not deep, but seen if phone is kept at an angle)

You're wrong, Apple will honour the original warranty.

the device has the warranty not the owner. you can check out how much is left on it from the apple site.
Sadly the warranty on a samsung phone is different (2 years) but they require proof of purchase for repairs (Ive just had my S3 away for a repair).

Some of the tests we carry out...... "and network connectivity, power port, battery, accelerometer (if applicable) and appropriate software detection. Should a handset fail any one of these tests," .......To test it has a battery ? at what stage do they say thats no good? when it fails to hold the charge maybe? Wouldnt be so bad if you could replace it yourself but hey good deal

nice phone, had the One X

Does anyone know how your insurance works out with a phone from these guys? They normally ask for proof of purchase with IMEI if you make a claim and its not clear whether or not they would honour it...

FYI smartfonestore is a reputable retailer and i believe their phones are sourced from cash converter type sources. Dont let that necessarily put you off though. I bought a grade A unlocked S3 from them last year and have just ordered a grade A unlocked S4. The popular phone models literally come into stock during each day and are sold within minutes, so you have to be either lucky or very quick.

Samsung phones have a 2yr warranty and they calculate the guarantee expiry date from a phone's serial number. My son has an S2 passed on by me (a refurb from amazon warehouse) and it developed a fault earlier this year. Phoned samsung service, they said it was just within the two years. They arranged to collect and courier back the repaired phone within a week for no charge. No purchase receipt was requested or provided.

Carefully selected refurbs can be a great way of keeping up with the latest tech whilst saving money at the same time.

Does anyone know similar websites to this as they are low in stock and would like to buy a fair few.

wait and get the s version, it's the same but better and you pay more. but it's Apple so more is good right.

this is true but most of the stock seems to be c

Crap battery lasting about half a day.

Grade C quality. Too risky.

hope the white iPHone 5 comes back into stock soon, I wanna buy one!

Heat! Bought my iPhone 5 there last month. Best customer service I've ever used!
