Musicmagpie is applying 10% off on these phones. Various storage, colour and network options. Stock correctly displays in eBay app. I personally bought Good condition Vodafone one, 16GB came for £31.49. Free delivery and free returns. Still will be good as a 2nd phone.

You can pick up an iphone se (first edition) for about £50 - same size handset but it is still supported by the latest ios
I used my old iPhone 5 the other day while my new phone was on its way and I’m shocked at how much better it runs than probably most phones up to £50, sure the battery sucks and only older versions of apps are available but the Apple ecosystem still thrives within the device , I almost look forward to using it again in a few years and see if it still holds up and something tells me it will

SE has double the RAM, latest iOS and a chip 3 gens newer - well worth the small extra cost.
Not a bad price for a fancy looking door stopper 😃

a friend still uses a 5C as their works phone, knowing how long they spend on calls on it I have no idea how the battery is still going.
the unlocked phones are much steeper in price, shame. Great find though. heeeat

For Vodafone you just need to use a PAYG SIM in the phone for 30 days and they will then unlock it for free!
These are sometimes a hit n miss you have to pick the network storage etc etc then you get hit with the price I can never seem to find the £35 iPhone which is advertised most of the time it jumps up to £50-£75 so for me a bit of a con..but well done to anyone who actual gets the £35 handset on the network they want
Thanks OP just picked up a 16gb one for £34 on o2. Ideal for a Giffgaff sim as a spare. Heat added

You can also unlock with eBay codes, Vodafone and O2 codes are available for £1-£2.

You cannot unlock any iPhone with a code! They are unlocked by Apple on instructions from the network

Is this worth it as a tile device for SmartThings ? Not sure about the lightning connecter if mousnted
A tip for getting apps is to have another newer ios device and using family sharing option.
It's a cheap MP3 player if nothing else!

I love the iphone 6. Compared to iphone 5c it has a better camera, bigger battery, larger display, newer SoC and you can pick them up for under £50 in good condition second hand.

I will update once I try eBay codes on this phone. If it does not work, it will go back to musicmagpie.
Must resist. I picked up the HTC hd2 that was on here the other day. Apart from flashing it with a few different roms it's basically a £9.00 paperweight. You can't do much with it, which I'm guessing is the same with this iPhone
Omar1980uk14/08/2020 10:30

How well

It’s YouTube and it’ll play videos. Probably 720p max. Doesn’t support HDR so expect basic playback.

No! Apple supported this phone with updated software until 2017 and I would expect it to be a very functional second phone

I still use my 5s for running (YouTube music) and as a GPS for hill walking (Outdoors GPS) the smaller size is great and it still runs those apps perfectly. With data WiFi etc turned off the battery life is brilliant too.

I did the same out of curiosity. Absolutely nothing to recommend it but I will put it in my car for emergencies. I have a 5C about somewhere and have wondered if you could use them as a cheap tracking device for my car with the "find my phone" facility.

Can confirm, I’m still running it as my only phone. I’ve got the iOS 14 beta running no problems.
hows this 31 for me its showing green 16 GB good condition £39.99-10%off £35.99
Good price but no iOS update lot of apps won’t work anymore and 16gb will be full within a month that said great camera and ideal for hols or being bashed / dropped at work like me
can i still run google maps on it?
if you go for pristine and 32 GB they want £120, im afraid a new Samsung A series goes for a little more than this with better tech and specs, although £31 for an iPhone is good.

The worst iPhone to ever be released. SE first gen much better choice than this. If you have £30 budget and need an iPhone for some reason I guess this is passable.
This is cheaper than a raspberry pi, or even many webcams. People working from home, look here lol.

Definately agree with you, I did same recently but managed to get cheap SE which runs blazing fast.
Just got a white one on o2 £35, will do for work
A lot of apps no longer work on 5c because it’s 32bit.
