From carphone warehouse.
iPhone will lock itself to the network of the first SIM card that is used in the phone. Subsequently attempting to use it on any other network, for example by replacing the SIM card, may mean it becomes permanently unusable. SIM free iPhones can only be used with a UK-network SIM card, and will not accept foreign SIM cards.

works out at £33+per month for even the most basic call package... Still a rip off so cold from me :-(

Brilliant price simple as that

Cheapest iphone 6 contract is £38! And you have to pay over £100 upfront

Yes you need to buy 1 goodybag if you don't already have a gg sim. After that you can toss the sim if you want,or give it to someone else to use.

This is a decent deal. Heat added. However, even if you are paying only £10 a month, that makes it £587.36 + £240 = £827.36! That makes it more expensive than the EE deals doing rounds at less than £800.

With contract £12-15per month it be over £35per month, Thats just works out the same as all other networking thats providing like EE and vodafone.

The ones Carphone Warehouse (and previously Phones4U) do indeed work like that, allowing them to sell locked iPhones for each network without multiple different stocks.

However, those sold SIM free from Apple or others are actually unlocked, not temporarily.

Cheapest deal on uswitch, is ee at £40.99 month x 24 and £100 upfront that over £1000

Original Poster

U can always get a sim only contract from ee 15.99 a month same as tarriff on uswitch, still saves you money doing it seperate

Is this genuine? Can you order the phone then cancel the sim that comes with it and put the one you already have in? I'm on a sim only contract at the moment, thanks

Hope they put it in a good strong envelope marked "DO NOT BEND"

Editor

How is that price in the title correct? it's £22.39 + minimum goody bag (£5) = £27.39

£657.36 over 24 months.

When you say member, do you just refer to the site registration?

Always liked the iPhone build and material but this one looks cheap and tacky having seen it at the weekend. Can't stress that enough

Total: £587.36

Sim only contract say ee £15.99 per month 2gb internet, unlim text n calls total : £383.76

383.76+ 587.36= £971.12

Cheapest iphone6 contract on uswitch is ee with same tarriff at £40.99 per month x £24 + £100 upfront £1083.76

Now tell me i havent found a deal!!!!!!!!!!

I agree this feels very plastic, feels like a Samsung or any other Android device and with reports the 6L is bending in peoples pockets
Bring back the older sturdy Iphone 4S / 5S build quality, which made them like BMW and Mercedes of Phones

Im not sure, ive been with giffgaff for over 2 years, not sure if ud need sim registering before they let u order, could always order with goodybag n then use it up check my last comment of good deal

Not for me. Tried and looks ugly. Go for z3.

This doesn't seem that cheap to me. Adding the £10 goody bag (which only gives 1GB of data each month) means it's £60 up front and then £32.39 per month, so £837.36.

Now you can bring that down to £774.86 by dropping down to the £7.50 goody bag, but then you only get 0.25GB of data each month which just isn't enough for 99% of people.

Carphonewarehouse iPhones do lock to the first network they are used on. Truly unlocked phones don't.
