iPhone 6s 16gb - Nearly Perfect - O2 Refresh - £303.99

There's only one deal more likely to go cold than a iPhone 6s 16gb deal, and that's an iPhone 6s 16gb deal when the new model is around the corner.

Looking past the above, here's a deal that I think is pretty good value given that it's classed as Nearly Perfect. I've bought plenty of Grade B phones from O2 before and they've been absolutely spot on. Throw in a 12 month warranty / balance of manufacturer warranty if longer and I think this is a more than reasonable price.

*To get this price, you need to show all tariffs and select the 20gb tariff which is £41 pm (£11 pm phone / £30 pm airtime) plus £39.99 upfront*

And before someone says that the cost is in fact (£41 x 24) plus £39.99 please google 'how O2 refresh works'. Other than that please feel free to ask any questions

Also for anyone with Unidays o2.co.uk/stu…=GB 20% off and free railcard
excellent find...

But you're locked into a 24 month service plan at £30 per month? albeit a good allowance. However, not ideal if trying to get a cheap total monthly cost and data allowance don't factor high in requirements?

lol i need to go specsavers! thanks
If only there was a deal this good on the 64gb! Be wary that 16gb just isn't enough for most users unless you want to be constantly deleting apps etc.

I've upgraded my 5S to iOS 10 and performance has taken a huge hit so need to upgrade unfortunately
Thanks OP ordered one
Crazy times. I've seen a C4 cactus deal and an iPhone deal go hot in the same day.

yes, all you have to do is place the order, wait for the handset to come (tomorrow if ordered by 11pm today) call o2 to cancel the airtime pay off the handset cost
Just comes with the phone and a charging cable and pin in a unmarked white box
Two questions if anybody can answer. Can you unlock this straight away on receipt? If you cancel the airtime and just keep the phone do you have to pay in full? Or can you keep paying for the phone monthly for the next two years?
Great deal, think it'll get cheaper when the iPhone 7 is released?

The grade A 5S I got from O2 was pretty much brand new.
I don't use a mobile phone, because I will be a billionaire one day.
yes @piggy74 - you get the phone, make a call on it, complete the online unlock form. That takes 24-48 hours, you call up and pay off the balance of the phone contract and you can then use whatever sim you want

too much money for a 16gb phone, sorry but a 16gb £300 phone is just cancer
A serious warning for those taking out this contract to pay the device plan off and keep the phone. O2 puts two credit entry into your credit file as if you have taken out two loans at the same time which hits your credit rating. In my case they never closed the airtime account and it stayed on my credit file as a default even though o2 NEVER sent me a bill or any notices. And when I applied for a mortgage I got rejected! In other deals that have been posted a lot of people put this warning up and I ignored it thinking there's something they must have done wrong. I would stay clear of any o2 refresh deals if I were u.

yes you have to pay off the phone in full. In the past I've taken out a 0% (balance transfer) credit card to replicate what you'd have paid monthly to o2.

You can't cancel the airtime

Do you mean you can't cancel the airtime unless paid off in full?
Ok so let's get this crystal clear I do the plan pay the £39.99 up front cost get the phone then ask for it to be unlocked on line wait a couple of days then cancel the airtime pay off the remainder is that £303.99 minus the upfront cost of £39.99 then keep the phone ? Thanks

when you pay off the balance of the phone contract you're under no obligation to continue with the airtime element. O2 will of course encourage you to do so but given its so expensive compared to a sim-only equivalent you can cancel at same time. My advice - cancel the DD tho - O2 have got a habit of messing up the final bill.

You're running the second beta at best, performance is rubbish on all devices and will likely be for another release or two

But if you need to use that as an excuse to get a new shiny then have it

Yes, my query was not re the airtime. It was can you stop the airtime and just continue paying £11 a month for the next 2 years?

£11 x 24 months equals £264. Plus £ 39.99 equals £303
