For those voting cold; please elaborate, if you have found it cheaper elsewhere as I would like to know please. Thanks.

Apologies if I'm missing something, but Is it correct that it will lock to the network of the first sim inserted? It seems to be a standard handset (as it would be from Apple?) with no mention of the sim locking that I could see. I tend to get my iPhone handsets off-contract so I can switch sim deals whenever I want, and haven't encountered this sort of thing.
Anyway, I may have missed something here, but thought it was worth asking.
Do you know if £20 off code works on iphone6? Ive tried to go through as far as payment details but nowhere to enter voucher code.

This is a hot deal, if you did any research into the phones out this year you would easily see that this is one of the best (it's actually my first iPhone coming from Android and has been voted the best phone of the year by anandtech).

I don't understand fanboys, do you have shares in Google or something?
Cheaper on ebay. Lol

Blah blah blah.....or maybe you'd say baah baah baah?. I don't buy Apple products but won't go telling others they should not, just like I don't tell people to not buy Heinz beans when Aldi's own brand are much the same.

Is this a good deal, or dare I say a Hot deal? it's really a yes or no answer.

Cheaper on ebay. Lol

Maybe but with the added bonus/risk that it'll stop working when the original seller reports it as stolen and claim a new one on their phone insurance and the one you bought gets blocked

I have no loyalty to any os or manufacture. But i am from old skool generation.
The versatility of android compared to apple, is just obvious.
I am not only person
save yourself money and get from apple store if you want a truly simfree phone ..this one locks to the first sim inserted you end up paying more than £20 to unlock my personal experience ...
So why are people that buy Apple products sheep? Surely if you buy only Android devices you are an Android sheep?

As for overpriced. Here is a real life example on 2 new phones in late 2014:
iPhone 6 purchase price £539
Sold 1 year later for £400

Sony Z3 purchase price £539
Selling 1 year later for £250

Tell me which is better value.

Wow!! Only £599 for a device that costs Apple £150 to make. Has to be cheap...... or hold on moment.......
here come all the apple haters coming out of the wood work once again - happy new year to you all!!

im not voting either way because

1> its not that much of a deal...but a saving is a saving and
2> the mobiles.co.uk deal i think was better as your got the same phone plus a tariff for £220 extra over 24 months
600 bones for an iPhone lol.

Do you remember when you could get a refurbished grade A model of the iPhone 6 64GB off ebay for 360 bones. Is the 240 extra bones worth it for a near identical phone? It is if you're a moron.
This is a far better deal, yes its a 6plus and not a 6s but for double the memory plus a bigger screen its a no brainer

Yes, android is more versatile but different people have different needs. If you don't need the versatility then why would you limit yourself to an OS that provides versatility that you will never use.

I previously needed the versatility provided by an android phone but now that both iOS and android are more mature and my usage has changed the iPhone provides all the functionality that I need.
Deal wise you can't go wrong with this but I'll never buy an iPhone again. Why....I can't see how people can splash out that amount money on a phone. Whether your Android or iOS £599 is just too much!! Does it make you better than the next person.....NO!

everything you buy costs less to make, they'd be out of business otherwise

i got 6s on the deal before xmas with a good allowance 720 all in , which my reckoning is 380 for phone and 380 for the allowance , not so bad really , and no worse than any other new phone

as for whether iPhone is better worse than android , so far its less useful- there is some subtle quality to the working of it however .

I do kind feel a sheep for paying 30 a month for ANY new phone and contract , when could have had totally reasonable deal for 15
or under a tenner being very prudent
Edited by: "logohigh" 1st Jan 2015
Is it true put in a 3 sim ,as first sim, and it doesnt lock to any particular network , so no need for future unlocking ? Seems to be true according to various net comments .
so many people annoyed how others choose to spend their money trotting out the same comments in every thread and they call other ppl sheep priceless

But why spend a shed load, on something that isnt any better? Your paying for a name.
It comes back to old battle. Do you go Pc or apple? They are both exactly the same, but the key difference the os, and the name.
Is the os any better? No.
Is the name? Not to millions of skool users it aint.
Six hundred pounds for a phone....and people are calling it a deal ...the gullible suckers who are slaves to marketing never cease to amaze and amuse me

COLD
I genuinely don't understand why Apple deals on this site bring out a range of folk who range from name callers to those who genuinely appear to have an irrational hatred of an inanimate object and all those who own one.

Just move on and get on with your day?

Well this is a thread about a measely £20 on 620 as it is.

But there's plenty at £600 too. And you can flubit.

This isn't a deal.
A new year and still the droids are moaning, move a long and stop moaning.
Does that EXTRA20 code work for all phones on Carphone Warehouse?

That's no longer true, some don't, like John Lewis or giffgaff birth don't lock to first sim, truly unlocked.

you are the biggest moron here by making such comments.
Maybe some people value quality, customer service, availability of accessories and years long support?
The new iPhone chip is the fastest out there and nobody has been able to match it so how is that underpowered?
On top of that add apple pay that actually works out side the USA, features that are still announced for unverified source as coming soon and great resale value...

But to make it a bit easier for some to comprehend why people buy iphones...
if you drive a car for example bmw1, why didnt you buy ford focus, or Dacia Sandero, they are the same type of cars. 1 wheels, roof, drives A to B, you could save so much more money
