In the last 2 weeks they've sold over 100 of them so to answer your question, yes.

Wife has finally upgraded to an 11. Her 6S battery was truly abysmal by the time she stopped using it. It said 84% health but would last her half a day, and also die when it had just gone into the red.

Ps. yours for £70

A potentially useful device if ever you happen to find yourself in a situation where you need to bend some aluminium to plug a gap somewhere.

And a whole 16GB! Wow!
What a POS.

AND it's network locked.

the last model that works with headphone socket besides the SE. I might have to get it at this price

£70 may seem cheap now , but like most 30 year old models you will find the running cost to be fairly exorbitant.

Returns not accepted.
oh that's class

Be aware that you'd be able to get just about a year out of this phone. Apple probably won't support it for much longer.

It doesn’t suddenly stop working or underperforming so that statement is quite misleading
Unlocked in very good condition just cost me £103 after discount!
i keep getting the "This code can't be applied to your order." message
Perfect timing. After trying a handful of androids (being an android fanboy myself), I found this phone to be perfect for an older person getting into smart phones. The physical home button to bring them back to the home screen helps a lot when they get lost in all the apps/menus.
Starting price seems to have jumped, so price with discount is still £90-£120 depending g on spec chosen

So is promoting the use of unsupported kit.
This would be the same thing as continuing to use Windows XP, the hot topic at the moment - yes you could do it, but it's incredibly stupid and one shouldn't be surprised if they find their accounts hacked one day.

Erm, promoting a deal, for kit that is currently supported is different from suggesting it would be obselete/unusable within a year.

If the information is out there, folk will make an informed judgement if they wish to buy a device that may or may not be suported within a given timeframe.

There are two free Exchange and Repair Extension Programs for the iPhone 6S. You may have been eligible for a free battery or iPhone replacement.

I would advice anyone buying these refurbished from Magpie to check their serial number, they might get a free battery installed by Apple if eligible.

Good luck with those, they also do not reset the cycle count on the phone and can also cause overheating of the handset. As well as being a pain to change for most. Might as well spend the extra and get one in better condition with better battery life. Music Magpie do not guarantee the % of battery you will receive and regularly deliver handsets with utterly duff / fake batteries onboard. Buyer beware.
Surprised this is so hot. I ordered an iPhone SE from them last week with the 10% code, 64gb, locked to EE, rose gold for £63 which, for me anyway, is an equally fast phone in a smaller package with a LOT more storage space making it much more usable.

Yep, exactly what I was trying to highlight. A new iPhone over 5 years probably works out at about 150 a year, so this is actually a great deal for someone who doesn't care about the latest bells and whistles.
Bendown04/02/2020 18:22

I ordered 2, 1 was returned. Faulty battery meter, basically dropped to 20% in about 30 minutes then stayed around 10% for 2 and a half hours (running Pokémon Go) so no idea when it needed charging.

The one I kept is fine. 86% battery health, screen has a small scratches that you don’t notice when lit up back is a bit chipped, but I couldn’t care less..
