I think during your investigation/dissection of my post, you hit the nail on the head. I have had it a year and a half because it's been out a year and a half. And within this year and a half it's developed battery issues.

I am a heavy phone user, but that's my life. Then again another apple warrior has already picked on that as being lived wrong so let's leave that for the moment.

p.s: Why do people like you guys need to make every post about a godforsaken apple product a passive aggressive cockfight? I expressed my genuine experience with the iphones and said I was considering getting the 7 but the headphone jack and potential battery issues in the past were a problem. It's sad that you feel the need to "check" me on it. Anyways leaving this thread alone now, so please no need to reply. I actually HAVE a life.

Well if my phone battery is worrying me, it has to be me. We can't all be apple obsessed millennials living with our parents, vlogging and freelance life coaching for a living surviving on gluten free food and turning to the internet for a sex life. Some of us have homes and businesses which involve being out in the real world, making calls and sending receiving emails. We buy products which promise to carry out these tasks effectively and when they fall short we have a right to worry and complain. Your response is the cancer found on all apple "forums"; anytime someone mentions they have an issue it becomes a criticism and analysis of their lives. I would say get a life but you already have your phone I guess.

This phone is £599 direct from Apple, so I guess if you can find a sim that gives 600 mins/5000 text/4GB data/roaming for less than £44 for the two years then yes it would be better. Otherwise no.

If you use this sim does it mean the phone is unlocked. Exactly what I've been looking for. Thanks op. £20.20 topcashback too.

Not 100 percent sure, but all carphone warehouse mobiles and three mobiles are sim free

Good find thanks

Iphone locks to first SIM inserted usually

These are flex locking. Which means locks to first sim inserted. Best bet is put in a O2 sim and unlock as ID will charge you £40 to unlock because it's flex

iD use 3's network (for anyone wondering)

Not sure I follow. Do O2 not charge for unlocking? So put in an O2 payg sim, unlock and then do the id sim?

That is not true, Three don't lock in first sim being used.

Only three don't lock. O2 you either have to have a contract and it's free to unlock or £15 on payg

Is ID mobile any good?

Does the £25.99 price per month include VAT does anyone know?

I have been thinking about this, but I had a 6 Plus and after a year and a half the battery got so bad you needed it on charge most of the time. In the morning it would be 100% and by the time you got into work it would be at 40% and surprisingly shut down. Then I had the iphone 6S plus and it worked for a year and a half and finally the battery got so bad I needed to have it on charge at ALL times. One call would drain the battery halfway. Of course I was younger when I got into iphones and have always kept up but now I am sick and tired to the core of worrying about battery and such issues. Life is too short to be worrying about this garbage. On top of everything without the headphone jack the iphone 7 may as well be a brick. I am sure I am not the only one with this experience, would be interested in hearing others. I am sure everyone else has had an absolutely stellar life changing experience with their iphone 6/7s?

cant comment on the 6 battery life . but the missus needs to move on from her 5c so this looked a tempting deal . she's still getting almost 2 days use out of the phone . perhaps sea just lucky

Ive just gone for this seems a good deal

Apart from never having an issue with iphone batteries, how did you manage to have 6s issues a year and a half in when the 6s is now only a year and a half old now?
How does lack of a jack make it a brick?

I'd get this. Sadly I'm locked into a £8 sim only deal with three for another 9 months

Already with iD on a 30 day sim only tariff since January. Just called up to see if I could get this deal whilst keeping my number. Was told that although I am free to leave the network I cannot upgrade until I have been with them 6 months! Anyone got any ideas of the best way to get around this? Ie porting out to a payg sim elsewhere and the. Back again?

Thanks

Also not sure if it's been pointed out by others it's cheaper to go through uswitch where it's £19.99 upfront instead of £49.99 direct with iD.

I rang them and it does include vat so it's an even better deal - I went via uswitch - thanks OP!

I own my own home and run my own business which involves me spending a fair bit of time on the road (using my headphone jack-less iPhone 7 as my main port of contact and I survive) and i'm 35 so very much not a millennial (although I wouldn't turn down the chance to be younger).

This isn't an Apple forum, and I wouldn't describe someone pulling you up on an exaggerated post as "cancer" either

Book yourself into the genius bar if you're having problems with battery life, they have a computer which will run diagnostic checks and if there is something wrong they'll help you with a solution. But you might not be able to exaggerate as much in there

Great deal and very tempted but the shocking reviews of iD mobile are putting me off. I know most people only write a review when something bad happens but still.

Edit: just did a search on Trustpilot for all the other mobile providers and all the reviews are 1 out of 5 too.
