iPhone 7 32GB O2 Refresh - £326

Just noticed, O2 have their prices for Like new iPhones.

The best deal I could find was for iPhone 7 32Gb Like new, Tariff £109 upfront and £35 plan for 5Gb. This brings the cost to £9*24 + £109 = £326

Using the usual O2 refresh trick, you can request the unlock for free, pay the remaining balance upfront and call to cancel the airtime before your 14 days return period is up.

I know a new iphone is coming soon, but at this price, iPhone 7 is still a good choice and you get a full 12 months warranty from O2.

refresh how to guide.

Got one of these last time it was in stock - my device developed a fault with the volume buttons after a few weeks - O2 lady on the phone ended up replacing my device with a 128gb NEW iP7 - best ever HUKD win!

not true, these are 14 day returns and most turn up to be as new out of box
Even if the phone costs £326 on its own, that's a huge loss of £274 in only 1 year as the starting price was at least £600.

The last o2 refresh deal was only 277 so this is very cold in my opinion.
Thanks. I had a look and managed to get iPhone se for £106 quid rose gold almost perfect. Glad ordered there and then as out of stock now. Been looking for ages
If its any use to anyone, all three phones I've had off O2 refresh have been indistinguishable from new - even one that was "Grade C".
Great deal.

Having difficulties with the Refresh How-To link posted?

Need help understanding what to do, after the phone arrives through the letterbox.

Have some heat!

How does this work when the contract is for 24 months

How does this work when the contract is for 24 months

You are able to pay off the device element of the deal up front, and then you cancel the airtime contract within 14 days! Simple!(highfive)
you don't get the headphones or charger plug do you?
Silly question...Where does it say u can cancel the airtime plan?and has this been tested and proven to work?

Hukd is littered with O2 refresh deals.... lots of happy people... the odd not so happy people!!!
I would like this as a pressie, so I take out the 5gb Contract, ring for an unlock code for the phone, cancel in 14 days and pay off the phone in full less the 109 upfront cost? Never done this, but heat added
Any deals on the 7+?
Great price. I got the 6 Plus a few years ago on O2 refresh deal - cleared the payment the same day :-)

You definitely shouldn't be buying this then, since you are clearly a superior deal hunter... you've been on here for 5 years and never come across an O2 Refresh deal, this much I find suspicious. Hmmmmnn..

In all seriousness though, the phone and line rental are separate contracts, each with their own 24 month time period, but you are allowed to pay of the phone at anytime, so you can then cancel the airtime within the 14 day cooling off period, and also get your handset unlcoked for free.
dont you have to bother with all the cancellation hassle and being overcharged messing up with your credit history !!!!

Let us give him the benefit of the doubt...

peter1969uk, this deal is £326 for the phone only & no more to pay. There's no contract involved, as you'll be cancelling it on receipt of the phone & after paying off the remainder of the device plan.

Never tried :))
Ordered, so I can pick up from my local store, tell them I've changed my mind, pay off the phone, cancel the contract, and wander off with an iPhone 7 for £325.99. Cancel direct debit, job done?

You can only cancel the contract & pay off the remainder of the device plan via telephone/online chat I think - not instore. Also, I'd recommend not cancelling the DD - let them do it from their side. After it's all done, ask them to send you the following confirmation in writing via email:
- the device plan has been fully paid off,
- the contract has been cancelled,
- there is no further payment required &
- the DD has been cancelled by them

I'm looking for an iPhone 7 at the moment, but with the new models being released shortly, does anyone think it's worth waiting to see if the prices will drop?
It's £470 for the 128gb.
£109.99 upfront and & £360 to pay it off in full.

Can you cancel the airtime but keep paying the £9/month for the phone?
