Data does cost extra but still a cracking deal for a IPhone 7

Was a little curious on the data etc. As I had looked into the S8 and that had phone cost then page 2 was data.

But this is just the phone at £23/M.

Grab an I.D mobile sim for £5/M at 1g-1.5g (based on offers), 5000 texts and 500mins and it's not so bad for £28/M.

Yeah as you say for £23 a month it is pretty good.

If only it was 128GB I would've been all over it

With sky's data package at £10 for 1gb. Making it £33/M, you could go with the deal of the day on virgin for same cost but a much better package. (just sim deal at £10)

They give you £120 back at the end of it aswell.

spent 5 mins trying to figure out how the Sky contracts actually work and gave up.
Swap 12 is actually a 24 month contract.
Swap 24 is a 30 month contract.

small print reads "Data Plan required for duration of Swap plan".
so you can't just buy the phone and look elsewhere for a sim only deal.
Very misleading pricing structure. Don't be fooled by the low monthly payments.

But I can sell my 30 month old (unlocked) IPhone 6 for £250 now, so £120 cashback on an IPhone 7 in 24/30 months, is a pretty pants offer. As another comment says, you also have to have the plan deal, so the phone will be locked to Sky Mobile - I detest the hassle of being locked! Sorry, at face value, the deal looks reasonable, but the devil is always in the detail. Best to buy direct from Apple for me - but wait for their summer offer on interest free payments over 24 mths, which usually kicks in the weeks before they release their new model in September.
