What happened to iPhones? They used to hold their value very well, now used models are sold for less than 50% of what heir price was when they came out 1.5 years ago.
Cheers! I just upgraded from 6S 64GB to a waterproof 128GB 7 for £90.90 with selling my 6S for £188.10

Moved to deals from vouchers, thanks @PEETSY_BOY
Not bad for what it is I guess?. :-)
I think it’s a great deal as long as the screen is in a decent condition, whack on a case and you’re good to go
I’d be a bit concerned taking a ‘good’ condition phone. Looking at ‘excellent’ in black, 128GB at £449 and think that’s the more tempting deal..

Think it's because of this new generation of iPhone X's the old generation is going to go down in value.

They still hold their value if in very good condition. There are just so many iPhones out there & because they have such a long support cycle - even the older models are still useable & running the latest os.

I think this is more due to the iphone 8 and X being released within 2 months.

Every 2-3 years I would buy the phone made 1 year ago. i.e. when iphone 7 came out, buy the 6s off a friend or A grade.
I would then sell my existing iphone (5s) at around 100-150 below what I paid for the 6s.

So I will be looking to buy the 8 when the 8s or Xs comes out - if that's what it'll be called. But I doubt the 8 will be in my price range of 100-150 over, seeing as I now need to fork out 150 to move from a 6s to a 7 - whereas it wouldve been 150 to go from a 6s to a 7s.

They finally started to get cheaper on contract which must have helped. I picked up a 64GB 6S for £31 a month in October 2015 (O2, 2GB/unltd/unltd). That was the first time I remember seeing good deals readily available when a handset was just launched

Who did you sell your 6s through?
are these unlocked ?
Can anyone comment on Grade C condition? I noticed Giffgaff are only giving 6 months warranty whereas Smartfonestore and MusicMagPie offer 12 months.

The pics shown for grade c are not very good in my opinion. What I am asking is if there is anyone who has received a decent conditioned phone.

Also no information on a standard box, headphones, wire etc? Anyone know
I am tempted to buy one for my son but the good condition images look ropey to me and the 6 month warranty is a little hmmm. The MM feedback sounds more promising as some users say the good condition handsets received are almost unmarked, they are however more expensive. Trust pilot reviews look really bad for GG too, still a decent deal if everything goes well and you get a decent handset....
If you go to o2 all the Like New i7 are now out of stock! were cheaper than 6 or 6S!!

7 £19.99 - from £33pm

6+ £9.99 - from £33pm

6 £9.99 - from £35pm

6S £0.00 - from £39pm

???

Managed to sell my excellent condition 10 month old Iphone 7 for 330 gbp, bought it for 400gbp
Just bought one last sunday.. missed the musicmagpie ebay deal but found the next best price at giffgaff’s ebay store.. selling my iphone6s through ebay £1 fvf so a cheap upgrade for me

Maybe the 7S and 8S are coming with XL lol you never know with Apple, I wonder how much bigger a X+ (XL) can be

To be fair I went from a cheap o2 payg 5S deal on here to 6S sim free in 5 months, my 5S just sits used very little with my EE £6/25GB sim as Go Binge and 12GB do me with Virgin Unlimited 4G backup.

I’m happy as £90 has got me from 6S to 7 for more GBs of music (I have a few GB & Spotify just now) and rain proofing in Scotland or Wales is kinda paramount lol! Also Spotify is getting cancelled, Prime Music with my £3.99 Prime Student sub

Exactly and come trade in/selling just before the GiffGaff 12m warranty is up just buy a new shell, if screen good it’s all good...I’ll be owning a 8 or X by next April, I don’t mind letting the sheep go first and bringing down the cost for me lol, I like being a tight ass and/or black sheep

it depends on how many new iphones are releasing. i.e iphone X and 8 . the money grabbing corps want money from everywhere.
I'm on look out for a bargain deal on a iphone 7 plus at 128gb black (no jet black) but seen a very good condition gold iphone 7 plus with 256gb £469 on thie link to giff gaff, is this a decent deal for used. How would a black otterbox case look on it with the handset being white

I purchased an "excellent" iphone 7 back in December from GiffGaff, it came in a plain white box with no headphones, and only a generic USB charging wire (no USB plug)

‘Poor’ is not a title you can attach to Steve Job’s attractive mature wife who’s now a very wealthy widow. I’m still trying to find her on FB but she doesn’t seem to be on there!
