Is this a genuine post

Yes, just seen it on uswitch.

Why?
It's actually not a bad deal because that is an EE Max tariff, including free BT sports for 24 months. Say the 8GB allowance is worth £12 (comparable to average non-retention SIMO deals but EE Max is better with 4G+ speed and roaming in extra countries out of EU), and the BT sports thing is worth £5 for those who need it, then it is essentially £13*24=312 for an iPhone 7, which is OK given the current RRP is still £549.

Exactly, what I thought. I looked around for one for a while and this was a better deal than I could find, even if it is refurbished, I looked into reviews and most say phone like brand new. If it's shabby I'll just return

I might pull the trigger on this as well since I am also looking for an EE Max deal with ideally an iphone. Will appreciate if you could share info about the condition of the handset you receive.

Phone is probably just a customer return... It won't be a used phone they have repaired etc.
I bet they look practically mint.

The reviews read like that so fingers crossed, it's no risk really I can return if no good
FINALLY A DEAL THATS BASICALLY THE SAME AS A YEAR AGO THAT I ALWAYS COMPARE TO.

Cold. I got this April last year with 2 more GB data and 128gb storage (though also £64.99 upfront I just found out, but this was a year ago). Also was on O2, which actually has a rewards scheme. It’s gone up by just over £1 because of interest, but it still beats this ‘deal’ by a million miles.

This was a year ago, as I said. And that’s what you’re losing your mind over? Your ‘deal’ is for a 32gb iPhone with 8gb data. That deal was a year ago for a 128gb iPhone with 10gb data (you had to upgrade to the 10gb on the O2 app). Also, liking your own comment to make it look like someone agrees with you is rather ridiculous.

I’m not hating, I’m just saying that your deal was beaten a year ago (as you said your one couldn’t be beaten).

Losing my mind? Not really. However waiting a year to tank a deal, that could be considered a little mind loss?!
