iPhone deals are a risky one on here, but just ordered this and figured i'd share

The phone is £800, so take that off the total bill £462 for the contract which is £19.25/month for unlimited texts and calls and 26GB data over the two years

Can not get a sim only deal like that anywhere currently

Probably go cold as its a brand new Apple product, but if you look at the figures its a decent deal if you dont mind fixing for 2yrs and actually want this iPhone, its a no brainer a such an early point of release

The epitome of materialistic consumerism. All the things you could spend …The epitome of materialistic consumerism. All the things you could spend £1200 on. I bet it doesn't make you £1100 happier than a £100 phone. Utter madness.

Enlighten us; what would you spend your £1,200 on? what does £1,200 of happiness equate to for you? without a point of reference your comment is just fluff.

£32 per month for 3gb doesn't look half bad. Must be a discount code about somewhere?

You could say that about anything...why buy a nicer car...why get a better laptop...why buy a house in a nicer area. There's always going to be a cheaper alternative

Guarantee there will be something you spend money on that I couldn't justify. That's life, people like to spend their money on different things

Yes it has a monster 6000mah battery though no more battery worries there are slimmer alternatives if that's what you want.my point is why waste money on a 1000 quid phone madness

If I wanted an iPhone 8 Plus, this seems like it would be a fairly decent deal. I don't feel like I've given heat, even though I clicked that button, more that I've arrested the onset of winter a little.
If you pay £170 upfront you can save an extra £36. OP I think you've found a good deal personally. Haters gonna hate
also £25 Quidco.

The most immediate reason is that I doubt that phone will receive updates, including the recent BlueBorne hack.

Even according to that listing, if an upgrade comes out your warranty is void.

also £25 Quidco.

Wish I knew about that!

Yeah I've tried various links to get it to take you directly to it, but no joy

Just specify 'upfront cost up to £125' and 'data 5GB or more' and it should be the top one when sorted by monthly cost

Sorry but Apple have completely lost the plot with this release. Who the hell is going to spend this kind of money on a phone that looks so dated before its even out? Madness.
I preordered iPhone 8 plus 256GB £300 upfront £44 a month 26GB of data unlimited data/texts on Vodafone. Plus I get Spotify for 24 months which I usually paid £4.99 a month. I think it's a great deal I found it on mobiles.co.uk

Edit: I don't think it comes with Spotify premium

Sounds like a great deal! Has it now delivered? What is the supplier like (mobile.co.uk)? I went into the Carphone Warehouse the other day, the man said most of their stock are not 100% to Apple standard hence why it’s slightly cheaper? Not sure if he’s winding me up or trying to put me off from buying elsewhere. Anyway this seems like a good deal, also you can grab £70 cashback from TopCashback. I’m still debating as I’m usually usually with EE, what the speed like with Vodafone?
Yeah mobiles.co.uk is great. I've bought from them for the last 4 years. iPhone 8 plus arrived brand new and sealed. Perfect condition. Everything set up correctly. I recommend them. It's weird that carphone warehouse said that because they own mobiles.co.uk lol

Edit: and what £70?!? Damn I need to be more careful and look for more websites. And also speed is great with Vodafone. It's probably slower than ee but rn now where I live (Warwickshire) speeds are about 50mbs/s download.

Thanks for your feedback, I really appreciate it. It’s good to know it’s a genuinely product.

I contacted Vodafone and they said it’s an unrealistic deal and you will not have Data tethering, wifi calling and additional 1 year warranty via Vodafone? Is this true?

Also does it come with Spotify Premium for 24months? This would be a massive plus for me as I’m already paying £48 with Apple Music on the iPhone 6s Plus. Sorry for bombarding queries.

They’re probably trying to get you to get it through them. The additional 1 year warranty is true. I don’t know why it’s so much cheaper on sites like mobiles.co.uk. It doesn’t come with Spotify Premium but I’ve changed my plan through the myvodafone app to a £50 a month plan which does include and I also get an extra 6GB of data. I have wifi calling but I’m not sure what data tethering is. I probably have it.
Details of my plan found on myvodafone:
Mobile Phone Service Line Rental
Unlimited UK minutes
Unlimited texts
16GB data
WiFi and 4G calling
750MB Wi-fi
50 Euro EU RoW data spend cap
And then I get an extra 10GB from the offer they are running (automatically applied)

Cheers for the details much appreciated. I have just find something very similar to what you mentioned which also included Spotify for 24 months. One from mobile phone direct for £231.99 upfront and £48 monthly with £30 cashback or Carphone Warehouse £300 upfront and £48 with £75 cashback. The market is so competitive nowadays it’s insane! How are you getting on with your new phone today? I may have to wait until I get back from holiday.

That’s the deal I’m currently on - expires in November. Hoping for a similar good Black Friday deal in time for a new contract!

And - just had my battery replaced by Apple - as the handset was eligible for a battery replacement when I checked the serial numbers! Tempted to keep it as it’s now like new.
