Rumours of a new SE in June means this is probably the worst time to buy …Rumours of a new SE in June means this is probably the worst time to buy an older model... wait a few more weeks for prices to come down further.

At £89 this is the price of most entry level Android phones and if you need a phone (under about £400) this is definitely the one to go for. Check performance benchmarks- this is still one of the best phones money can buy. AT this price you struggle to get a Moto C.

Prices will not go much lower than this, simply because of the number of people coming off contract (SE was released in March 2016) and trading phones in inflating supply. By June prices will have rebounded back from silly levels: to about £120 (the 5s has held its value around £70 and its five years old). At £89 this is probably the best bargain in tech.

The new SE (if there is one) will launch at £349. Basically: if you need a phone now (and don't mind the smaller screen), buy this.

Should be in the title...
Similar to previous deals, e.g. hotukdeals.com/dea…687

iPhone SE and 6S are the same era, iPhone 6 is the previous era (so probably should be ignored). iPhone 6S and SE are likely to have support for a further 2 years and 5 months having been released just over 2.5 years ago.

Both Topcashbackand Quidco are offering 3% on store purchases right now (actually 2.5% as they aren't offering cashback on VAT).

great deal, SE should last longer than 6S due to smaller screen to power etc

People are reading the "up to" £40 right? Up to written smaller is a classic sellers technique as everyone focuses on the larger number

I'd recommend anyone not to get the 16GB, you will want to throw it at a wall as soon as an update comes out
Curiously, a recent update of iOS freed up space on my ipad. It allocated memory more effectively.

Lets hope you dont need to store anything on the phone I.E spotify albums or many photos. Because you will not have fun updating your OS

Really? So the reason 16GB iPhones are now obselete is also rubbish yea?
These morons saying 16gb is acceptable with no expandable storage. You're the reason Apple will never include expandable storage and keep selling you overpriced icloud, enjoy!

Actually iCloud's price is not bad at all, it compares favourably to Dropbox for example. Other than that, I agree that 16GB is not enough, you will have to "stream" your apps, musics and photos all the time so your phone doesn't fill up

Fair enough, I didn't actually know the pricing being honest.. but glad you agree regardless. It's a way to funnel more sales and I think in this day and age (on newer models) where iPhone's can shoot 4K video, It's just unfair.

The pricing is honest. However 16GB on an iPhone is no good unless you're not gonna do much on there.

For example put a bit of music on it and a few photos and when the update comes through you have to spend ages deleting apps, cache etc as the update needs the space to download etc. It's a very common issue hence why they stopped production of 16GB and why people sell them, and why they go for so cheap.

This is true
Quality phone with the best OS at a great price - use it for a year and sell it on for pretty much what you’ve paid today if past experience is anything to go by . Not worth bothering with a cheap android at this price - great for someone who just wants a basic smartphone that just works . Have some heat

Or download the update via iTunes without having to free up space
How are you getting 6s at £126?
What is anyone going to do with a 16gb phone? Clearly not enough memory these days

Or download the update via iTunes without having to free up space

You still need capacity on the phone to install the update, right? none the less, it's an inconvenience. With a 16GB phone maybe 14GB is usable, the OS probably takes half of that, you install a few apps and take a few photos and it's full already.

You can mess around and optimise storage etc etc but you will always be going through deleting stuff and each update takes up more and more space.
Ordered this for the. Mrs.on Wed.delivered today. Was class C refurb.but it's in a mint condition without any scratches In original box with sim pin and usb cable .Excellent value and quidco is tracking at 7%.
