Was looking for a sim free unlocked iPhone SE for my wife and noticed Apple has increased the prices of their handsets, meaning that it is now much cheaper elsewhere. John Lewis still has them at £359 (and includes 2 year warranty), but Giff Gaff is cheapest at £339 (+ £10 Goodybag). Add to that a Quidco cashback of £10 or a Topcashback of £30.30 (ends in 2 days) and it is a decent saving over Apple which will ask for £379 for the same handset.

Update 23/09: Giff Gaff has dropped the price even further, to an incredible £319, saving £60 over Apple's price.

If you activate the SIM that you have to purchase with it (this doesn't lock the phone btw), then you'll get the higher amount (same goes for Quidco)

Yes, it is the updated phone

Yes it's basically a mashup between the 5s and 6s. It has the 6s processor and camera but the 5s screen

not sure whether to wait to see if any price drops when iPhone 7 is launched?

The 64gb version dropped $50 in the US this week following the announcement of the 7 so fingers crossed we could be lucky here in the coming weeks.

I can get this for £312 using 02 refresh trick

giffgaff has dropped to 319

Oh damn, I was banking on a price increase following Apple's increase, so bought it for my wife's birthday early. Could have saved myself another £20! Makes the deal even better.

Any idea how long the quidco rate takes to update to £30, bought from giffgaff and activated sim but currently tracked at £5? Will it update automatically or do I need contact quidco?

It will update automatically when it goes to Confirmed. I asked this same question to Quidco a couple of days ago

Honestly nobody cares about your opinion of iPhones. This is about getting this phone as cheap as possible. You've just spoilt someone's chance of finding that deal because you don't understand the concept of this site.

I'm after SE for my daughter, Is this till good deal? The only thing I don't understand is the goodybag? And when checked their site for the sim, it's not looking good in our area.
