it's really just the old SE

Yep, exactly like the old SE, except for the larger size, wireless charging, much faster CPU, better camera, better GPU, faster Touch ID, Tru-tone display, haptic touch, water resistance. They're virtually the same phone.

Hmmm I don't understand this phone, if you really must have a half eaten apple on the back I guess it's the cheapest way to achieve it but it's really just the old SE with a face-lift large bezel etc makes it look very old.

You answered your own question
Is it not cheaper to just buy it and get a £8 a month sim (12gb probably and unlimited minutes and sms). £419 + (£8 x24) = £611

ive found with apple in the last few years its often cheaper to go sim only and buy the phone at a discount (ie it was £382 on ebay currys recently)
if it let me know please, ive been looking for weeks and can't find a better deal on this or the 8, sim only deals or more than this price as a combined price, but if someone finds a better option, post the link please, 30gb remember and i was posting as a contract deal rather than the spec of the phone.
Awkward phone... small battery, power eating processor, buyers will need to walk around with the charger,oh.. and it's apple, you have to pay for fast charger separately.

Yes very similar S2 or S3 I'd say
Find these comments funny but not at all helpful to someone who’s looking for a new Apple phone or even one of those other ones as there are no alternatives listed. Looks to be a good deal to me but going sub-zero.

Exactly. I've had a Huawei P20 Pro for two years and I can't wait to ditch it and get an SE. Not on this deal, but you can buy it directly from Apple and get a SIM card..all for around £23 a month. The 'it's Apple so I'm voting cold' mentality on here is so tedious.

Why do you want to ditch Huawei and go back to a phone like this, genuine question as most think the Huawei along with android is far superior?
not a android v iphone debate, this is a post for people already decided on the iphone, as i've mentioned this post is the deal on the iphone SE, voted cold my android users is a joke when nobody has posted a better deal on the se yet 🙈

Hi thanks i've posted this deal as best i can find but if your paying £23 from apple which i have seen, how much are you paying on sim only?, as surely can't get 30gb for £6/7 to match this deal, thanks for your comments

No, I wasn't saying it's not a good deal. Just not for me. I don't need 30gb of data so a £6 SIM would do me.

no sorry don't mean that it's just it's for my son and looking for a deal and your del might be better as he might not need the 30gb, how much data and which sim is your deal, to get for around £23 as that may suit my son better aswell

I've used iPhones for years. I tried the Huawei because I wanted to try the cameras and I was p*ssed off at Apple over the battery/software issue. Also there was no way I could afford anywhere near a top of the range iPhone. I suppose I just miss the simplicity and reliability of the iPhone. I find the Huawei software messy and numerous things about the phone annoy me. The introduction of the SE means I can get an iPhone that will survive as many iOS updates as the iPhone 11, I can take great photos thanks to software/processor improvements and I don't need to spend stupid money to get it. Everyone knows it's just a re-built iPhone 8 but who cares? That was a great looking phone.

I still have a month on my contract so I just started looking at iPhone deals. You can buy the SE direct from Apple for £419 (interest free also available) and I think I saw a Virgin Mobile SIM for 6 quid with 3gb of data. Works out around £23 a month over 2 years. I'm not certain that Virgin deal is still available but you get the picture and I'm sure there are others around that price.
Oh..and John Lewis were doing the SE with an extra year warranty and 12 months Apple TV.

Had many Samsung's and still using note 8,runs like on first day,and soon it will be 3 years since I own it. Came with fast charger like it should be plus got oculus for it,used for about 3 times but still battery holds for allmost full day,but im more than average user so.. I'm not against apple,I'd love to try new pro models but don't quite see a point to upgrade yet

Why would anyone in their right mind want to get in debt for 3 years for a £400 phone. Two years is more than enough, if you need to do this due to finances I would recommend getting something within your budget.
Great deal if you like the three network and 3 year contract.

just ordered my mother iphone se 64gb £26 a month upfront £39 24 month contract o2 network with 30gb data.
