iPhone SE 32GB New - £199 + £10 topup @ GiffGaff

Refreshed 15th Jul (Posted 12th Jul)
Been watching this for a while and now it's dropped a further 10% down to £199. Considering pristine/refurbished on ebay are around £170 seems like a good deal to me!
Note if you don't have a giffgaff number already you have to buy £10 topup too it seems.

But will be considerably more expensive than this, the SE with its 4" screen is very quick and feature packed anyway so I cant see what they could add that would be useful to their 4" users. If anything I can see them removing the 3.5mm headphone socket.

Yeah I was worried about this too. But i agree with @paulj48 and so went with this, there's nothing that a new phone can offer that I want!
I don't want to unlock it with my face, I don't watch movies or play games so a big screen isn't so needed. Just maps, whatsapp, email and iMessage/facetime is all I need. Tbh the only reason I'm upgrading is because my HTC One M8 shuts down and wipes random parts of the memory if it reaches 20% battery

I'm not criticizing anyone who chooses the iPhone X or S9 or whatever, we just want different things from a phone.
These run great on iOS 12 so don’t worry about any slow down issues at all.

Is there a way of not having to buy the top up? It won't be needed so it's a tenner down the drain

I had an old giffgaff account so just logged in with that and the credit disappeared from the basket.

Is this cheapest ever for new? £219 cheapest id seen before.
I've tried paying with my usual giff gaff credit card and another one but the cards are being rejected.
The credit/debit card details entered are not valid. Please try again or use another card.
Anyone getting an issue or have a solution?

My first card was rejected too! A link popped up to contact support so I did that. Right pain tbh.
I can't even get rid of a new 64gb for this price, how is a 32gb selling for this?

Thanks, I had to use a different browser on a different device to place an order.
Hmm I was looking at John Lewis £249 with the 2 year warranty but might go for this.
Go through Topcashback and get a new SIM (even if you already have an existing GiffGaff SIM) to get £35 cashback (£5 initially then £30 later). Bought two of these in the past for the kids and both tracked/paid out without problems.

If you get a new sim doesn't that mean you have to change your number, as you have to activate it?

There is no hard evidence that Apple will produce a four inch phone again. There have been lots of rumors in the last six months about an iPhoneSE2 and a small iPhoneX. Nothing has been confirmed by apple. Lots of pictures online. But nobody really knows what is fake and what is real.

If you want a 4inch phone, the SE is a great choice. Even if it may or may not be superseded by a new iPhone?? in ?? months for £??
If you want to save a further £40 and get a virtually brand new one for £159, which is branded as a certified refurbished iPhone SE 32GB in Rose Gold, have a look at this deal I posted 2-3 weeks ago.
Mine came looking brand new, sealed and in full Apple box.

The gold is sold out, but available in Rose Gold, with link in description of post.

You can just activate it then bin the SIM, will waste the £10 credit of course but the cashback is worth three or four times as much.
Are these network locked to Giffgaff/O2?

Heated & bought. Do u have to stay with giff gaff until Quidco pays out? Relative newbie to Quidco malarkey.

Some people do actually prefer wired headphones. Doesn’t mean wireless is bad, but there are reasons why some people prefer wired.

Sorry if I'm being thick - I already have a giff gaff account, so to get the £35 C/B would I have to have another giff gaff account?

There is a new iPhone every year to replace the older models. The SE never had a replacement last year, just like the iPad every 2 to 3 years.

Yeah, you can create a new account and never use it (remember to cancel the goody bag of course), you can use the same email address etc. as your existing account.
Will this be unlocked?

I'd much rather use wired headphones

Neither the Op or you specified the SE, you just asked for ‘evidence of a new iphone release.
