It's back.

How it works (thanks to aaqeel):
Insert sim, activate your iPhone. Don't use any minutes/text/data. Ring 202, request for unlock code first. Once request goes through, tell them that i have already paid for device in full (if you have selected option of pay for device in full while ordering), can i cancel airtime? They will proceed with your request. If advisor tells you about 30-day notice period, you need to quote that i am cancelling my airtime and sim, which is allowed within 14-days period. Cancellation of airtime takes 24 hours while unlocking will take upto 72 hours. Remember to provide them correct email address so they can send you unlocking confirmation email.
12 x 24 = £288 (cancel airtime as above)

In my opinion, I bought 2 last time with the same condition and there wasnt a single scratch on it. It came all boxed up (o2 branding, not apples) and couldnt be happier!

Thanks op, you need to put 'Like New' in the thread title & description.

bought 3 SEs in July for £120 smaller versions, sold 3 5S to Game for £130 each which we bought 2 of them for £96 on refresh deals they all came brand new never been activated, also got at the time a 7 for £267 always worth keeping an eye out for them if looking for a new one. Make sure you tell them you want to cancel in the 14 day cooling off period or they will try and charge you the full first month and keep copies of any webchats you have with them. No issues from our side on those or two previous ones we have done, credit score does drop by about 50 points but no real bigy back to normal the next month, drop probably because I took out 4 phones. One to watch though if you are thinking about mortgage loan etc.

Those 50 points can make or break a mortgage application.

I never do this again. They messed with my credit score and I had to call them more than 10 times!

yep agree normally add that but for some reason didn't, score returned to normal the following month and we did do 4 phones so could expect a hit anyway.

I bought the SE in July on the refresh, I did not activate the sim, did not even put it in the phone - I called from my own phone and cancelled the air time no probs as I already paid off the phone. Why does everyone say you need to activate the sim??

This is the 2nd phone I bought on refresh, the 1st I activated the sim but cancelling that one was a nightmare - sent me a bill for the whole airtime contract in one go even though I was 1 day into contract - well within 14 days - o2 on that occasion made it an unpleasant experience!
