This ticks a lot of boxes for me. Only £14 per month after cashback which adds up to £336. It is only 1GB but as an EE broadband customer I can add on 5GB for free. As I am currently paying £10 per month for 3GB on giffgaff this means I am getting the phone for effectivley £96 and more data.

I can also leverage this next time I negotiate my broadband deal with EE.

Perfect for those who want IOS, smaller form factor and a headphone jack.

24 month contract for a phone thats a couple years old, it ticks boxes for basic use, maybe not ideal for regular phone users
No such thing as an IPhone 5SE. Just saying!!
March 2016 is its DOB so not 2 years old just yet. Great phone if you prefer a smaller phone. Was looking at this myself this afternoon.
You can buy a like new iPhone SE from O2 for 170 with a pay and go sim with 2gig data, 250 mins, 1000 texts as long as you top up £10 every month. Much cheaper option.

If you read my post you will see that you are clearly wrong.
1/ This is a brand new phone not a like new
2/ After cash back my deal works out at £336
3/ Even before cash back it is £420 compared to your £410.

Name an iphone with a headphone jack that is more advanced. The only one I know is the 6S but that has a weaker battery performance and is a lot more expensive.
Name an android phone for £96 with a better camera and build quality

It’s £177 and a few pennies and 16gb
so total comparable cost is £417
Admittedly if you want the data then the 02 is okay but there’s also a possible £35 cash back from Quidco.....so now looking cheaper possibly. All elements considered I’d say both deals are equal in value for money. Got your 6 month Apple Music as well.

Not sure I follow your logic on O2 being much cheaper. With your phone cost and plan it comes to £410 over 24 months whereas the OP will be paying £336 and getting 6GB of data due to being with EE already.

I get my deal is a 24 month contract but it is a no brainer for me. £336 after cash redemption. 32gb brand new and I can get an extra 5GB free via my BB contract. Even without it, I could just about manage on 1gb data but never with 16gb memory.
I just noticed that the moderator totalled the price incorrectly so have edited it.

I think it’s a fine deal

Maybe I was being too defensive. Minus 166 not many agree - oh well.

Those on EE already will be on cheapo retention deals otherwise the comparable sim is £8.75/mth via mobiles or £15.99 direct from EE...and yet look at the temp this got hotukdeals.com/dea…831

Depends what you are looking for? I know I won't top it up every month (it's for my son) so I know your predicted cost of my deal is would be a lot less than the 420 you quote. Contract of PAYG? old phone, people don't want to be tied to that for 2 years... A lot of factors I suppose.

Also, there is still no such thing as an IPhone 5SE. You didn't have a come back for that!?

Your argument is void. You lost when you said its for your son and wouldn't be topping up every month. If he won't be using facebook, twitter, snapchat, instagram, google or any app on the phone itself then i could believe you won't be topping up every month. However i think you'll eat your words.
I voted cold because it’s an Apple product
