Since when could you use iTunes credit to pay for Apple Store products?

How can you use iTunes credit to buy an iPhone? I was under the impression it could only be used for apps, videos and music?

Thought iTunes vouchers were for purchases of digital content only - i.e. apps/music/videos etc.

This is correct, OP is just being a misinformed tard

You need to buy apple gift card not iTunes card

This is a sure-fire way to spend £240 on £300 worth of apps but it definitely won't get you an iPhone. I don't think these are refundable either so if someone has just rushed to buy these they might be a bit disappointed...

Anyhoos... this isn't a 'deal' for an iPhone SE. It's hidden agenda is the 20% off iTunes vouchers at Tesco so why make people think it's an iPhone deal?!
You could have said buy 10 £100 iTunes vouchers and get a Mac Book Pro for less than £800.

You can't. It must be an "Apple Gift Card" to buy from the Apple Store.

Can't you read?

iTunes Gift Cards are perfect for anyone who enjoys music, movies, TV shows, games, apps, books, and more. The cards are available in different denominations, and they can be redeemed on the iTunes Store, App Store, and iBooks Store in just a few clicks.

No I think that just lets you pick between an emailed iTunes code and an old skool physical gift card for iTunes.

lulz

Please tell me the OP bought 300 quids worth of iTunes vouchers.

very true. you CANNOT use the cards from the Tesco site to buy hardware it is apps, music, videos Etc only. Do NOT do this you will have wasted 300 gbp (unless you really wanted 300gbp of music or apps or a hardcore clash of clans habit)
