Seen this earlier and didn’t post as no Cashback. It’s a shame its phone call order only, some Cashback would have been nicer than talking to a call centre op, even with no Cashback lol

Great deal! Nice work.

Great deal but you have to be a sky tv customer I believe.

Is this one of their 3 year contracts?

wish it was 32GB nonetheless amazing deal!

iPhone SE for £10 a month: Offer not available online. Offer available between 17/11/2017 and 27/11/2017. Subject to status and credit check. 30 month interest free loan required. - Three year contract.

Be aware you need to join Sky TV or re-contract with them to get this offer. On clicking through the offer it seems to be £10 for the phone plus £5 for the tariff. Either Im reading it wrong or it’s not laid out very well.

30 month contract.... If you leave sky TV while you have this price will go to £20 a month.... In small print.. looked good till scratch beneath the surface

This is only for new sky tv customers or those rejoining sky so you have to pay £22 per month for tv, then £10 per month for phone and £20 set up cost. So it’s actually £32 per month for 30 months.

Great deal if you are joining sky, but I think full details should be in the title

I took this out yesterday, and had to re-contract my Sky TV for 12 months. While doing this, the Sky rep said I would lose any discounts applied to my TV package by taking out the phone.

I didn’t have any discounts so his didn’t affect me, but if you do, it might be worth checking with the assistant whether they will be affected.

Doesn’t seem any cheaper than their standard price as it’s a 3 year contract on the handset

Not 100% sure but if it’s 30 month minimum term contract shouldn’t the title be £300 not £240? Or can you easily change/ get out of contract after the original 24 months?

Just re-contracted with 50% discount, I saw this and nearly posted, but looked closer and thought it wasn't such a good deal, personally I feel you would be better off re-contracting with a discount which would probably be enough to pay for a nice phone elsewhere. Some great sim only deals out there or take a contract out with the saving.

If i have understood sky mobile correctly:-

1. Switch 12 is actually a 24 month contract
2. Switch 24 is actually a 30 month contract
3. Come what may, you have to give the handset back at the end

If that is right than it seems to me that you pay marginally less than competitors but you don’t actually get to keep the phone so it’s in theory much more expensive.

So, like when you're online?

which iphone? the pic looks like an old iphone 4 which fwir is only 3g?

voting cold for the obscure small print that includes long contract times - and at the end what happens if the phone has been damaged?

you can look at it this way:

max contract length is 30 months. so in total the deal is £300

the tariff is £5 pm . the phone is useless without a sim or tariff so that would equal £150 over the 30 months

minus that from the total deal and it leaves £150 which would be the cost of the phone. question is, would you get an iPhone SE at this current time brand new for £150? as long as you are not in any arrears, at the end of the contract the phone SHOULD be yours, just like any other contract.

furthermore, any unused data gets rolled on to the next month, so you potentially could build up a good amount of data for £5

agree or disagree?

It's a good deal if you already have Sky TV. There also seems to be a lot of posters here willing to post their ignorance.

The iPhone SE has very good battery. I change from an iPhone 6 to the iPhone SE and I haven’t been disappointed.

Disagree, you left out the not so insignificant £600 for the sky tv!

yes you have to be a sky customer. same for when BT do their offers, it will be attractive to those already with them. I thought that would be obvious to users of this site. apart from if you are new to deal hunting

Having thought about this they are promoting Sky Mobile deals to get new Sky TV customers or get existing customers to re-contract without any discounts. We got a great deal a few months ago on our TV Package, switching to Sky Q and two mini Sky Qs and their fibre broadband. The Sky TV went down 15% and the broadband was 30% less than the BT package we were on so the savings, plus the upgraded tech and two additional mini boxes ,would easily wipe out any possible benefit of their mobile deals. Not the same for everyone but just saying their are discounts to be had on Sky TV when negotiating at the end of your contract.

I'm at the end of my contract. phoned them up today. spent an hour and said there's nothing they can do. because I've been with them 17 years they told me I could upgrade to sky q and fibre with no installation costs. my monthly would look the same though. deals for new customers are very attractive until the contract period ends.

were you with BT before?
