Think it’s only £2 more for the s10. Great deal. My only issue is that they piggyback EE which does not work where I live.

3 year contract
Poor deal
36 months contract for a phone is a NO NO !!!
I wish people don't sign up for these 3 yr contracts, because the more people sign up it will become the norm. As it is 2 years is an eternity lol
There wouldn't be a need for 3 year contracts if phones weren't being sold for so much.
3 years keeps the monthly costs at a palatable level for some. This deal is a great example of that, especially if your a VM customer for 30/m

Personally, I'd buy a refurb/second and get a sim deal, but each to their own.

I don't know if I'm missing something but your screenshots show 1gb of data. OP deal is 100gb data
I'm not sure why people are voting cold on this deal. I have an iPhone 6 plus that is well over 4 years old and is showing its age as the battery struggles and most things run slower on it now. When i took out a contract with the 6+ it was £36 a month with 6GB of data (about average at the time). When that contract finished all the new phones had jumped from around £35-£40 a month to £50+ which also included an upfront fee which to me just seemed far to expensive for a phone. I've been sim only for over 2 years at around £20 for 20GB.

This deal seems like fantastic value. No upfront fee for a handset that has reviewed very well and includes more data than I'm ever likely to use. If i was to carry on sim only for the next 3 years then I would pay £720 while with this deal it would be £1,224 so the handset is only costing £504 over the 3 years. I can also trade my old phone in for around £100 which takes that price down even more. After the 3 years the handset fee drops off and if i stay sim only for a little while longer then i'll be paying about a tenner for a 100GB of data a month.

I honestly can not see what the downside is. I tried having a look on O2, vodafone, EE and a few other mobile sites and I cant get anything close to this deal. I've ordered mine over the weekend and it arrives today. I have 14 days to return it. What am I missing for everyone to vote cold :-(

I think most people probably wouldn't spend £20pm sim only. Most probably pay around £10, in which case the cost of the phone would equate to £850+, which is at least £100 over its current full price (which many would say is overpriced to begin with). Virgin will also bump up the price yearly in line with RPI, so there's that too.

However, if you genuinely need a £20pm sim only, then it's not bad value relatively speaking.
