Been looking around for a new phone last few days . Saw this on eBay but to be honest can't see the value .

Can get a new xs 64 with unlimited/unlimited/80g (or more)data for about £36 a month with free phone (£864). Stump up a big upfront payment and you can get one for around £760 over 2 years( albeit with less data)

Even if you run a cheap sim of £10 a month , plus the £430 for a "good" phone with 1 year warranty and no doubt scratches and dents to save less than £2 a week .

A pristine phone is £528 plus £10 sim = £768
90p a week saving for a used phone with half the warranty ... And you have to stump up £528 .
I remember paying £1250 for the iPhone X. Now the Xs is selling so cheap. I’m going to keep my phone for 10 years.

The seller ups the price and then advertise 10-20% voucher every week. Effective price is same

I’m wondering if prices will drop for the XS, XR and the 11 when the rumoured SE2 (or whatever it’s going to be called comes out).

Some decent deals on the basic 11 already ( if you ain't bothered about an oled screen)The pro models are still stupidly expensive .
Can get an xr with U/U/100g for under £30 a month now ...( Again the screen is an offput)
Why is this hot? Recent deals have had the XS Max at only 20-30 more? Doesn't £400 for an XS seem avg?

It's not the screen that puts me off the basic 11 but the size in the hand; I prefer the size of the XS.
Just checked (I already have an iPhone XR) but there's 1 remaining XS, Unlocked, 512GB Space Grey for a whopping £488 after the discount. This is

Apple have warned that the coronavirus has affected sales and supplies of its iPhones:

"When Apple sneezes, the global stock markets catch a cold. That is exactly what happened this morning, with European stocks sent tumbling by last night's warning from the world's largest company that the coronavirus has hammered sales and supplies of its iPhones.

The markets have so far remained relatively immune to the potential knock-on effects of the coronavirus on the expectation that stimulus from China would smooth over any bumps."

[However,] the warning from Apple has provided the first real evidence that the coronavirus will have ramifications beyond China," said Chris Beauchamp, the chief market analyst at IG, the trading platform.
"

I get mine and all my family’s phones from MusicMagpie. The majority of “good” condition phones I’ve bought have looked like new, and the couple I’ve had that have had scratches in places I didn’t like, I’ve sent back and they’ve swapped them, no questions asked.
A lot of phone for the money, I’ve been happy with mine I got at launch but the battery life is only 26 hours or so with moderate usage now. I’ll probably have the battery replaced soon and keep another 2 years tho
Just thinking about getting one of these for the mrs. Looks like a good deal to me but is it? She has an iPhone 8 with smashed screen so this seems like a no brainer or am I getting carried away because it just looks like a good deal?
HOT! Just bought for £387.59 using the PRODUCT5 code as well as the 20% off voucher. Currently have the iPhone X so will sell that for £226 so essentially paying £161 for it.
Got it for £387
Yep......doing that now

Thanks all!
shows as £395 for me with 5% off!

Presume £226 is the price you get offered from mm etc, I'd go eBay myself reckon you'd definitely sell it for more than that unless understandably you can't be bothered with the hassle of a possible scum scammer.
Seems a lot for a marked and used phone (with no idea of battery life), although their returns are fine if you do receive one you're not happy with.

As a comparison, I bought a brand new sealed XS for £460 off eBay last weekend.

I have used the 5% code on top of the 20% & I get £460.27 very good con
Thanks OP.

Just spent £280 for older iPhone as a backup that I probably won’t end up putting it to use! But with 20% + 5% off I couldn’t resist (Although some people got 20% + 10% off?)

Anyone know the procedures for their return via eBay? Last time I had to email them to send me prepaid label, surely is there an automatic easier system that I can generate the return myself rather then emailing? Thanks in advance.
Just paid £369 using the same 5% code for a gold one with 256gb memory
