Have a look watch some auctions I did there were many and will continue to be. Approx 200/50 off apple prices is the norm. Not saying there is any to go buy now without any effort but can easy get on for what I have stated with a bit of effort. If you wana buy this instead go ahead mind
I can see one for £231 more (to match the 256gb storage of the XS in this deal)

Currently considering 64gb version of the XS (for 629 new) space grey if it comes back in stock anywhere but if you say can get a 256gb 11 PRO at 869 somewhere I’d probably be more interested in that but haven’t seen any for anywhere near that which why I wondered if you had any links or item numbers.

Thanks

629 new is a decent deal... I have just bought a 11 pro for 900 64gb yeah but when you take this deal into consideration you are literally 150/200 quid away from the newer model with this deal which is actually a big upgrade ( Iv had both) I would personally just play the auction game on eBay and try get an 11 pro. If you can afford this deal surely you can afford another 150 for the new phone. Just my opinion anyway.

Oh, you seem to be changing it a bit. Gone from 100 more to 150/200 now and also isn’t comparable because this is a 256Gb and you’re comparing it to a 64Gb 11 Pro. Would be fairer to compare the 64Gb version of the XS to what you’ve seen on eBay, which I’m guessing is about 900-950 odd for something new/almost new.
Edited by: "b33r" 5th Jan
The numbers ain’t exact but my point is if you are spending almost 800 quid on a phone spend a little more you get the latest model. I owed both and it’s a worthy upgrade I would imagine most people that’s had both would agree.

What if iPhone from eBay will be blacklisted by seller after 6 months from transaction? Any suggestions to potential risk?

That’s illegal and Iv had over ten phones from eBay and no problems. Network will ask lots of questions also about sim been used etc n see it’s not been lost. Very little risk in my opinion but buy from a high rated seller and you won’t have any issues.

Illegal on paper but very easily possible. It’s happened to me; the buyer claimed insurance (reported lost) after a whole year! Phone operator couldn’t care even though the phone was registered under my sim and being used for a year. Unfortunately all related records had disappeared (emails, transactions) and anything could’ve worked.

Just saying to warn everyone and keep a print out of your transaction which should suffice as your support claim. Seller in my case had over 2K reviews.

Posts like this really grind my gears. "Can literally pay 100 more and get a 11 pro"......then when asked for a link has to seriously back track instead of just saying "oops my bad I was talking out of my backside"

This happened to me too luckily was back when I had iPhone 4 so could break screen for replacement 😏 rather than have a brick as was registered to me
iPhone Xtra Special at a very good price. Who knows what I just did there?

Its a completely different phone and more money. Sure it is a phone but thats it, we will have the usual xiaomi comments shortly along with android opinions. Be good for once to see comments that it is cheaper/dearer elsewhere and constructive comments, those things might be usefull rather than a different phone at an higher price lol

Want to edit this to reflect the facts now that it's been pointed out that your option is:
1/ Second-hand and thus less warranty than this
2/ A quarter of the storage (64GB, not 256GB)
3/ Dependent on individual auctions
4/ Actually £150+ more in addition to previously-mentioned negative points.
5/ No risk of phone being locked after purchase.

Thanks

You do realise the phone I posted from eBay was brand new with 256gb memory with the full warranty.Yes it’s depending of suctions but that was the first phone I looked at so you can definitely get one cheaper. Not sure about these facts you are talking about but maybe you should edit them again to state the real facts.

The one at £938.95? (£170 more)

Ok so 2 of the 5 points don't apply in that instance, but the other three do. I'm not trying to cause trouble, I just think the first post should be amended a little.

I just meant that you've said £100 more for an 11 Pro....
In addition to paying more and getting a better phone, one could also pay less and get a lesser phone

You stated facts that were wrong. I am simply saying in my opinion you can get the new model for not a long way off this price. With a little effort probably even less. I don’t care what anyone spends there money on just showing to me this deal ain’t great. 😃

Just the £100 more you quoted, your statement could be true if you changed that.

Agreed. And I would personally always opt to pay a bit more, so thank you for mentioning the alternative. But I would also prefer a retailer over eBay, that has some value, some others would agree , but it's good to have both options.

To be honest I didn’t expect the 100 quid to be taken literally. I couldn’t give an exact figure as I didn’t have one. Yes agree about the retailer but there are many good retailers and resellers on eBay with thousands of feedback. Not saying it’s completely safe but I’ve done it for years with no problems. Obviously if you buy off a new seller then that risk is yours 😃. Have a good day

It's a numbers game on hukd, you've gotta be careful!
You've had luck on your side then. I've been stung a few times on eBay, not with phones though but one definitely needs to be thorough checking out sellers.

Thanks. You too!
