So tempted. Hot.(y)
Voted hot on its merits. And thanks for sharing!

Note the condition has been classed as their lowest grade therefore you may be disappointed to find the phone isn’t necessarily in good condition.

I’m guessing their their grading system ‘starts’ from ‘good’ - that’s ok if they have decided not to sell below average condition phones, but they could at least consider labelling their bottom condition phones as ‘average’

Sorry, voted cold by mistake 😬
Good

A good condition device will have moderate signs of wear and tear. There may be a scratch or two on the casing that would show it’s a refurbished device, but this is usually something that can be hidden by a phone cover.

As the conditions improve, the price for the device will also increase. So, if you have a tighter budget and aren’t fussed about a few scuffs on the body of the phone – opt for good condition and invest in a good cover. If you’re into your tech and want the latest devices in the best possible condition, you’ll want to go for pristine.

Voted hot to counter (wasnt going to vote otherwise)
Its a decent price but in my opinion extremely pointless as the phone might come with 80-85% battery health, and the new battery installation at an Apple store will cost you quite dearly plus the hassle, not to mention the potential damage, etc.

Don't get me wrong, I got myself an iPhone SE 16GB from magpie about a year and some back for about 80 quid, had the same situation, replaced the battery for 29 quid in an Apple Store as the promo was still going on and it was eligible for it, and the phone has been used ever since and has worked extremely well, my dad uses it for mostly phone calls and the camera as he is a tradesman, otterbox-esque protection and its been dropped countless times and went from -10 degrees to 40 degrees on the regular and works like a charm.

It's just not a risk I'd take with an XS Max when for a hundred and some more you can get a new one.
Tempted by this.Been thinking about trying iOS again. For me even if battery is bad can replace it myself so not to bad
I bought a 7 off MM and X off 4Gadgets. Both were rated good, and have been great. X had 93% battery and was under 2yrs old for £309, case was £6. Can always send them back..
Great deal on the 256’s

I bought one in nov for 620 from MM, and this is now 544.99 for a pristine 256 xs max. The previous one was spotless, and 97% battery.
Depends if your bothered about scratches or not.

Not all heroes wear capes
Fantastic deal.
Not many left under 5%. Thank you for posting this deal! Let’s hope the battery is in better condition than me
I bought one last week. Good condition was not too bad cosmetically but the speaker and mic are bust. Will be sending back for a replacement or refund
Xs or xs max? Think it's a bit too big... comments?
Good all gone now. Will you have any issue claiming on insurance if you buy phone from somewhere like this?
Bad retailer, always increases price as soon as an ebay voucher is in

Tho I shopped around to get the very best deal on the newest iPhone as I have which each new release, I still limited myself to (1) the main networks (tho that was so I could pay for it monthly) and (2) brand spanking new handsets only

Like many ppl, I slapped a protective cover on it on day one (to protect those lovely curves and unblemished glass not to mention my investment)...and now I couldn’t tell you what colour the handset it nevermind anything else or even whether it’s marked, as all that gorgeous expensive design is protected (hidden) by a cover that’s stylish enough for what it is but still pretty ugly compared to what lies beneath.
I’m definitely open to refurbs and deals like this op now...as long as the insides are good and the screen’s not scratched (tho the latter’s replaceable so not a deal breaker), some cosmetic flaws to the body really doesn’t matter as I won’t be seeing any of that
.
Appreciate the op as well as the various comments / advice / interpretations of gradings here 🏼

But what if you haven't got a few hundred quid more to spare?

I bought my husband a Galaxy s8 (his choice of phone) from Music Magpie and honestly, I was actually seriously impressed. It was rated 'good' but was actually in perfect shape. Not a single mark and batter at peak health. Just sayin'.

They probably rectified the issues it had by replacing the glass. Unlikely to be Samsung or Apple quality screens but it will look perfect to the end user
Ordered one of these on Monday and it arrived yesterday. Went with ‘good’ as thought it would be fine and it absolutely is.
battery health is 100% and not a mark on it. Not sure how a pristine one could be any better to be honest.
superb deal imo summed up by being able to sell it back to music magpie for £425today!

Same here
Always pot luck with these I guess. I bought a grade a / pristine equivalent and it’s more like an average phone.
