Went into sainsburys today and saw in the electrical section a docking cube for Ipod for £9.99 (white) £11 (Black). Seemed cheap but though i would give it a try.

Wow is all i can say.

The sound is fantastic for the price and it has a remote control as well. Radio (FM), 2 x Alarms, 7 docking adaptors, Aux Input.

For me this is much better than the Play.com own brand. Went back and got another one for the kitchen and several more for my parents.

i am so impressed with this small unit that i though i would post it here. Buy one you wont be dissapointed. And if you are then take it back...simple....

Oh yeah forgot to add prices will be a little cheaper as they reduce the VAT at the till...it just gets better!!

We bought one for our sone for xmas and it is fab! Having 2 alarms is also very handy for us.

Hi what is the full name of this, on the box? As I am looking for one, that is cheap and dont make that noise when you put a phone near it lol.

inspiRED docking cude for ipod model 583-258

I bought one of these for Christmas it cost me about £12 and my son (15 years old) thinks it is fab. It goes quite loud if required and he uses it for a 3g nano ipod which will play videos on so he can actually watch a film on his ipod in bed without me knowing.

Great price. Voted hot

Do you know if it takes the 4g Nano?, if so im off to Sainsbury's lol

It should fit on as the connections are all the same and it is thin like the 2g which definitely fits. The box does come with different adapters but there was not a specific one for the 3g nano (which is wider) that my son has but there are quite a few that just support the ipod so he uses one of those to ensure that the connector does not get strained.

how do you set an alarm on the docking cube and also how do you store radio stations? thanks

set the alarm using the remote control. hit the alarm button once to turn on the alarm and hold down to set...using ffw/rrw to set hours and mins and either ipo.aux/tuner. Store radio stations by hitting the memory button. A littel suggestion is to read the manual. it has all the above in it.

thats the problem ive lost the manual!!! how long do u have to hold down the alarm button for?

press the alram button one to display the alarm icon on the screen. then hold the button again for about 2 seconds and the hours will flash. use ffw/rrw buttons to set. then press again for seconds and then again for what to wake upto.
