Seriously, you don't know cash converters. Noob.
Each store decides how much to charge for the stolen goods they sell. There'll obviously be some stores where the person hasn't got the slightest clue what it is they're selling and price too cheaply. Most ask far too much though.
As Cash Converters are franchise, aren't prices set by local staff rather than by head office? So this post may be like the bar of chocolate that had a Yellow reduced label on that appeared yesterday.. a one-off?

Yep if you see their job advertisements you'll see that judging the price to sell items at is one of the tasks.

Yep once saw a guy in blockbuster pricing up a massive pile of DVD's for some chavs. He was refusing ones with security tags in. They'd obviously just been to Asda up the road and nicked a big pile. Thought it was a criminal offence to knowingly accept stolen goods and handle them.

cool story bro

Whoa, what's this about a recall? What was wrong with them? And how can I spot a recalled one - are there serial number ranges I can look out for?

I was looking at getting one on the 'bay, but now I see I need to do some more research into it! Please enlighten me!

It's a recall of the 1st generation iPod's... there was a battery fault, you send your 1st gens back to Apple and then they send you back a 6th gen 8gb replacement for free... Hence why the market is flooded.

Oh, OK so there's nothing wrong with the latest 6th Gen Nanos.. Phew. (I really want one)

But wait, FIRST GEN Nano recalls??? Those are 7 years old!! No way Apple would warranty something that old, so what gives? Or are you talking about the FIRST GEN HARD DRIVE iPods??? Those are 11 YEARS OLD! (also, worth a bit more than a measly new Nano for collectors, I thought!)

Nope it genuinely is the iPod Nano 1st gens. I traded my 2 in and got 2 8gb 6th gens back.
