Got these instore a couple of days ago so this is a heads up more than anything as there are none left in that store now
Might be worth looking out for them in your local! There were notebooks and tablets also reduced

Hullo - which store is your local? No tech stuff in stores near me, but y'never'know!

I never understand why staff never buy these or are they not allowed?
Where are these reduced items usually located in the store?
Are this the ones that u put them in the car to smell nice?
Where the heck do they put these then hahahaha

They quite often do, but they usually only go for the big ticket items (TVs, laptops, etc). The fact that the general public get a change to buy at these prices means that the staff aren't greedy otherwise they would just buy up every deal.

An iPod touch would be amazing for the price but whether that model is still supported is anyone's guess. Worth a shot anyway.
Lucky, lucky, lucky you!! Well done, op, great spot. Have some heat for your first deal, and thanks for posting!!

Are you serious? Pretty much all staff grab most, if not all these cheap items... Some even post on HUKD to brag about it...

no ipods in bedford store
In my local Tescos in the evening food is reduced by pennies, then near the end of the day if not sold it’s put on a trolley table and moved to the warehouse entrance. It is then marked down to pennies and moved into the warehouse for staff to buy
A tenth of original price? Someone got hold of a labelling machine I think.. usually the discounts are "was 4.75, now 4.13" or something as pathetic.
well done! heat heat

To be fair if I worked in Tescos or similar I would do the same. Perk of the job and probably safer then the poor sod marking the prices down being surrounded by a gaggle of people grabbing what they can like I often see in my own branch
Jesus Christ
Heat added, they are out there, just check the previous posts on HUKD. Really pleased you got a couple of bargains. I’m finding some stores are reducing a lot of stuff to 10% of the original price or even the sale price. (Just by posts on here). My local stores have been empty of anything decent, but I’m not complaining as I have had deals and I don’t always have to get every one.
Yeah right
Did you photo shop these barcodes 🤣🤣🤣
Give you £25 for the both of them 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I agree, but one night I got about £40 worth of meat chicken and fish for less than £6. I was shocked till I saw senior managers working on the plans for the store refit. Made me wonder what I'd missed in the past

I can only vouch for morrisons as I’ve worked there 10 years. Yes you can purchase any goods as long as your not the one who reduced them.
£125 in my local tesco

Yeah the 30 odd people who commented before you.
Are they reduced in electric section or in separate reduced shelfs?

Tesco staff should appreciate people’s black holes in finances - I mean their wages (minimum wage on nightshift for newbies), reduced free staff shares and head offices general finances all have been battered in the last decade, many low paid customers don’t get pay rises at all.

I had a supervisor repeatedly shout at me to get out her store because I kept sliding the door to access the side she had already reduced whilst she got her new labels off the printer, I apologised each time and closed the door so she could yellow ticket (as ex retail higher management I know it can be inconvenient for staff) as I was in a hurry for the train and she still lost her shit at me screaming at me all the way to the till...get out my shop, telling me I couldn’t pay for my goods, screaming she was going to call the police unless I left (I told her to do so and I’d leave my Clubcard number her line manager/police) absolute nutter of a woman/employee. I told her she was making a fool of herself and I was leaving with my goods after self service I was using, she berated me all the way from the fridge on the back wall to the front door trying to get me to react to her violent episode.

Reported her outside by phone to head office and she told head office & management a complete fabrication (I threatened her when I actually walked away when she stared shouting) which CCTV proved who was the liar, her body language and mouth proved it, aswell as shouting chasing me down the store shouting on other staff - all the way to the checkout - all on camera.

Manager called and apologised to me that everything I had said was true. CCTV. He gave me his own mobile number to report anything to him I saw instore that as ex retail I knew should not be happening.

Needless to say say she was never left in charge again that I saw. She could have escalated nothing but my politeness to a major situation and wasted police and taxpayers money. Idiot.

But I've seen how other customers act, and staff should keep calm and control to one customer or many. The Extra here makes customers line up for 20 mins and reduces in the back then returns with them, frankly it’s degrading to see, reduce and leave them as planogrammed, don’t make a specific reduced to clear and thus health & safety and temper hotspot. Simple.

Ill have a good look at bargains but im nothing but courteous to all, something Tesco staff should lead on - many of the staff I’ve seen have the wrong quick aggressive attitude to deal with such a hotspot and shouldn’t be delegated to do such by managers, who dress as managers and are better suited at handling large numbers of people in a orderly fashion.

Years ago when I done management staff paid the final price customers got, if it was not sold it went in the backdoor massive bins, charities then weren’t interested in collecting at 11pm close time.

I’ve seen staff do exactly that and cost things at a minimal just before or after calling “the store is now closed, please pay for your items” in one M&S, I deliberate stop where they stockpile them on a end isle fridge across from checkouts anytime I’m in there, it’s not like M&S pay staff minimum wage, staff got a 14.7% pay rise in April 2017
