IPOS NANOS are only £79.99,

It is / was a great price but they are now all sold out at Ryman's - gutted as I wanted one of them rather than an iPod Shuffle but thought I'd post this as it seems a good price.

Wow that was quick!

been sold out since last night for nanos

These are terrible. Lord knows why anoyone would want one.

Buy a Sansa Clip for a similar price. 100 times better.

Voted hot though as its a good deal if its your bag I suppose.

I can't believe how cheap iPod nanos and shuffles are these days. I still use my nano i bought years ago, no idea what gen but was from argos just when the iPod touch was released. It felt like an absolute fortune at the time and its only 16gb, I went through so many rubbish mp3 at the time it felt like an investment, it turned out to be a great purchase as its never let me down and still looks great. iPods simply are worth the outlay, probably my favourite apple product.

Sansa Clip? Cheap shoddy dross - bought one for my daughter and it just fell apart. Seeing how the thing was put together it was inevitable. Never again. Sony make fair iPod substitutes, but for durability and functionality - it's only Apple. (I'm posting this a 6-year-old iMac - still going like it was new - been through 3 Windoze machines at work in that time...)

I shall say I strongly disagree.
I go to the gym and work out regularly using my sansa clip and it's still going strong after 4 years...

How much storage does it have?

Same here. Sansa Clip used almost daily and also frequently in the gym for the last year. It's been chucked about, drenched in sweat and dropped a few times, but still works perfectly well. I find things tend not to just 'fall apart' without a good reason behind it. Ask your daughter maybe...

Nope - just a build quality issue. Good quality is about making things work well every time, not just some of the time. The poor design that created the problem was the jack socket being directly soldered to the PCB - so it's entirely dependent on the electronic circuitry for mechanical strength - cheap, efficient, but prone to crack and fail. Amazon replaced the Sansa because of an obvious manufacturing defect.

I really don't need one, but at 30 quid...

I would have to agree on the build quality of the Sansa vs an ipod shuffle.

Even though, personally I would buy the Sansa in preference, I couldn't argue with a straight face that it had better build quality, it may be 'acceptable' but it isn't one of its strong points

Cheers, Des.

There was a different 15% code on TCB - not sure if that works?

Thanks, that code was RX22 but unfortunately the Ryman site is refusing that to. So I'm not ordering. I'll probably prefer the Nano anyway.

Ahhh the typical gulible Apple user. They won't be told.

Well, I've had two Sansa clip's. First one lasted 5 years and only broke when going through the washing machine. The other I have had for over a year without problems.

Still, if you want to pay more money for an inferior product thats up to you

How do you think Apple make all their money?

Anyone who thinks this is a "deal", can you please send me some money since you clearly have far too much...

Is this deal expired yo I can't find the Shuffle on the Ryman's site ?

The link just takes you to Ryman's website! There are no shuffles on the page. HUKD is ****!!!
