Went into Morrisons earlier, and found 4GB iPod Shuffles at £29.99! These are a generation behind the ones currently on the Apple website, as per the picture, but I thought they were a great buy at this price. Not sure if this deal is store specific but thought I'd post it to let others know.

i take it you didn't bother to look at the reviews.

well £9 more but double the memory with a memory slot for expansion up to 32gb cards. sound quality is also better.

I agree with Zurich, those Sansa Clip players are way better for the money.

Apple usually make pretty decent MP3 players but this isnt one of them.

Plus the Sansa Clip plays FLAC (lossless audio) which is a thumbs up frrom me.

Oh but voted hot as it is a good price if you really want one.

I've had a shuffle for a year after my main ipod died and have to say avoid getting one even at these prices. It's ok as an ipod for running or the gym, but you have to buy one of these to use any other headphones on it.

The button sequences are annoying and so is the woman that tells you what song your listening to. Its a good price, but there are better mp3 players out there.

I see over 20 1-star reviews, complaining of poor audio volume and massive faults with the battery. Oh, and a warranty that involves sending the hardware abroad at your own expense (which, in my opinion, should be illegal).

could be faulty units. people are more likely to leave a review for something that is bad or faulty, but there are 330 4 and 5 star reviews. the volume has a safety limit option (iirc) which can be turned off, people should read instructions really.

the warranty will be with amazon (unless you buy from a marketplace seller) who will, more than likely, provide excellent customer care.
