Great first post muttly! H+R!

4% cashback from TCB = £8.32

They have been doing free engraving on these for at least the last 6 months...

i think its the price thats more appealing captain

Still possible to get for £205.99 on Amazon. But for a few quid more you get the engraving with Apple which is good.

Link for Amazon - amazon.co.uk/gp/…new

Also Quidco @ 3.5%

AMAZON quotes delivery 1-3 weeks , apple direst is only way to go

64gb 3rd gen off ebay only 258 pounds delivered

Black Friday deal

The free engraving is a useful tool to make your used Ipod less attractive to others if you resell it....

Nowt for free from Apple

Not happy with the black friday sales, no discounts on the MacBook, and the 71quid off the MacBook Pro is insignificant...

Wish i lived in the US.

looks like a pretty dodgy company

:whistling: Purchased 64GB last week from M&S for £299.
It comes with 2 year warranty which appealed to me and free docking station retailing on their site for £69.99.

5% back through Topcashback as well.

would keep away from crazy cameras... they are one dodgy outfit... theres alot of threads on forums and google about them.

You cant even close Crazy Cameras web page without a dodgy "are you sure you want to navigate away from this page" request. The words 10 foot and bargepole spring to mind.

Any decent alternatives to the ipod?

Black friday deal - what a disapointment. Some sites has predicted that iphone may have been included. Ive has a couple of emails advertising this event and was really looking forward to it.

Hey ho - its apple after all, their stuff flies off the shelves at regular prices so they dont need to discount I guess.

Well for music and short videos Ive got Sanza Fuze - Its brilliant and I got it from argos when posted on Hotdeals a few weejs ago - ony £29 for 4gig. Gone up now, but if can get it on promotion then worth getting as has microSD card slot (£5 for 4Gig from morrisdons again on hot deals)

Cant beat the style and useability of ipod though.

Would you get yours engraved....wont this retract from any resale in the future...
Seems a good deal to me.

Probably worth it.

Say you sell it in 3 years time, what is it even going to get? £50 maybe?
And what is an engraved one vs a clean one price difference then? Maybe £5

I'm gonna get "Apple charged me £208 for this crap" engraved on mine!

If you get the Ipod "engraved" from Apple then you also wave goodbye to your rights to return the item (e.g. unwanted - require exchange etc.)

Engraving is a bit gimmicky if you ask me. It reduces the resell value if you're like me and like to upgrade regularly.

I got the 32gb for £161 from comet using my 30% code from the comet christmas game thing posted on here a couple of days ago absolute bargain, beat that if you can! agree that engraving them unless with something generic will devalue in resale terms

Dude, please be careful. The appletards on this forum will take serious offence to your post. In particular someone called Adidaslover or Adidashugger or something. This guy is such a little twit. I said something like you have said in jest, in a mac deal once, and he goes on this typical macfanboy rant. Then when I respond he runs to his mummy the moderator and gets me an infraction.

Yeah, I know.

I was just illustrating a point about this forum.

You post a deal from a reputable retailer and someone finds a dodgy site with it cheaper. Sometimes, enough people show that site is dodgy and the deal continues to get hot - like this one. Other deals it doesn't and the deal goes cold and folk miss out.

A recent thread I posted went the 2nd route.

i dont know what all the :whistling::whistling: is about, it aint that great a deal

Perhaps because I was :-D with what I got, or is that not :x allowed?

sony if you prefer sound quality over apps and games

Decent deal, got the 64gb the other week for £230ish from the Debenhams deal, writing this from the touch excellent device being my 1st iPod of any kind, I've been through many players such as Sony, Sansa, Samsung, iRiver etc, if you are after excellent sound quality any of the iPods don't cut it, I chose the touch due to apps and games as a portable do it all gadget for which it is excellent.
