Student Computers now have the 3rd Gen Ipod Touch starting at £109.99 which seems to be an absolute bargain, can't see this cheaper anywhere by a long way - I recently purchased an 8gb 4th Gen and it is in pristine condition and I can testify that the service from them is top notch.

hmm i am thinking of this but not sure on the grading thing...

The one that I purchased was an A and is literally as new condition - not a mark on it and fully boxed. Student computers seem to be pretty honest about the conditions and the gradings are explained in detail here: studentcomputers.co.uk/gra…ing

dealt with these before very good company and their gradings are spot on got a B+ touch and the condition was quite good just a few scratches on the back plate. the screen was brand new unmarked

I would only worry about the battery life...

Ahh I see, I thought maybe the students had to get specific grades before they could buy one

Scorching, if you are buying for the kids, who cares about scratches on the back plate, makes them look more authentic.

You can always buy a new battery for it, they are fairly easy to fit as well

80GB B- condition model too for … 80GB B- condition model too for £70http://www.studentcomputers.co.uk/Apple_ipod_Touch_8GB_MC086BTA_-_Refurbi_1403654.html

Fat Fingers ??? it's only 8GB and not 80 . Got me excited for a moment.

Finally convinced me to turn to the dark side and buy another Apple MP3 player - if it doesn't revolutionise my life it'll go straight onto fleabay and I'll stick with my clumsy Sony...

Thanks OP - great find.

Don't forget you can still get a new 64gb 3g from HMV for around £170 with their current discount voucher + quidco.

Got a 8gb 4th Gen over the weekend delivery and email service very good. Actual Ipod was not A+ condition by their own description, 3 scratches on the front and back had a bit of damage on the chrome. Loving the Ipod after jailbreak though!

Interesting. I bought the same, in A+ too - and mine is mint. Maybe contact them if you're not happy - their service is excellent from what i've read and experienced.

Where? - Can't find it on their site.

quick delivery - arrived yesterday just before 9am bit disappointed with the iPod though - the headphones jack seems faulty and sound cuts out in one ear when walking around with it in my pocket.
I'll give them a call this morning :-(

Called Student Computers up, they were very helpful, offered to replace the faulty Touch but were happy to give me the refund I asked for.
Would happily recommend these guys to anyone.
