I know how to do it, the OP just doesnt mention the 1500 points + 500 + 298, it only mentions the extra 500.

However none of the vouchers that the guy listed for the 1500 EXTRA points seem to exist... cannot find them any where

Tesco are giving these away cheap because it's highly likely that they release a new one on september the 1st.

apologies, didnt see post earlier. and new ipod touch out on 7th september.

tesco automatically adds at checkout 1500 points then another 500 points when you enter OP's code

This is still working - unlike the 1500 points voucher which is not working

IIRC - New iPod's announced in 2 days.

the new ones are coming out on wednesday with a camera.

Possibly 2 cameras.

Possibly 2 cameras.

mac insider are suggesting 1 2 megapixel front facing camera for face time, if they put 2 cameras then they would just compete with the iphone. we will all find out on Wednesday night.

Add this and you get £15 off the I-Pod too.... TDX-AXPR

Takes it to £134.97 delivered, but only 1800 points though.

So you could get £72 in Tesco deals.

new ipods on the 8th september and on amazon this ipod is £136 so this doesn't seem like a great deal at all or am i missing something?

£135 and 1800 points (worth realistically at least £36) seems a great deal. Very tempted...

"Add this and you get £15 off the I-Pod too.... TDX-AXPR"

Wouldn't let me use both codes, had to choose one and remove the other to continue. So ordered using the first code, thanks

Any news on the new iPod?

Wow a **** quality camera on an mp3 player.... I think I want that!!!!!!!!!!!!!! not

I'd find it well handy.

The iPod Touch is not an mp3 player, it is a pocket computer. The whole 'there is an app for that' is not just made up marketing speech, it represents the fact that these devices can do pretty much everything you would ever want from a computer, but in a pocketable form. If you just want an mp3 player get a Nano, or any of the other hundreds of mp3 players on the market.

For what its worth, the camera on the new iPhone is regarded as being just as good as a cheap point and click camera, if it is the same camera set up on the iPod Touch then I wouldn't be knocking it. Lastly, if it has a front facing camera, it doesn't even need to be that good because it is only for webcam chats on the go, not for taking photographs.

I think he knows that but was pointing out that asda was cheaper . . . although obviously no clubcard points!

I still think it'll be 2 cameras on it. There are a load of cases around for it with a rear cut-out for a camera, and the 3rd gen iPod touch was supposed to have a rear mounted camera too but was pulled as it didn't pass quality control, plus there was those 3rd gen prototypes that ended up on eBay with the camera on them.

The Facetime camera I expect to be there too as Jobs said he wanted Facetime on millions of devices, and putting it on the touch would be a logical progression.

After owning several Palm, Dell and HP PDAs over 15 years and using them daily, since purchasing an iPod Touch in January of this year, I have to say that they have all been sold and I haven't looked back.

The range of Apps available have transformed the way I use my Touch.
There is an App for every task that was covered by my PDAs and then some.

It gets used 90% of the time for the Apps I have installed on the device and possibly 5-10% for when I am out driving and plug it into my car's Hi-Fi.

Hmm, odd, i added the 500extra points code, then tried the 1500extra and it told me i couldnt have both so removed the 500 and it went through.

Sorry, the eCoupon could not be accepted as you do not qualify for this promotion. Tip: Please ensure that your account has your most up to date Clubcard details set in the ‘My Account’ section to ensure that we verify your details correctly.

I can only agree with this. I bought a cheap first-gen 16GB Touch last year when O2 stores were getting rid of their stock (cost me about £120 I think) and it's an absolute marvel. It's taken over from my DS+AK2 card as a portable gaming device (it's not for everyone in this respect, but it's perfect for quick 5-10 minute bursts of gaming when your other half is taking her time trying on clothes in M&S); I use it for Facebook, Twitter, email and occasional web use when I'm sat around the house away from my PC (even choosing to use it over my Android phone for these); and so on and so forth.

My only reservations would be that 8GB isn't a huge amount when you're filling it up with music, podcasts, games and other apps, and that the 8GB model has a slower processor than the third-gen 32GB one (which means that some games -- eg. Espgaluda II -- aren't compatible). Since you can get returned/refurbished (with some warranty) third-gen 32GB models from highly-rated eBay sellers for not much more than this, I'd be torn between getting this one new for £150 or a 7-month-old (with balance of warranty) one from eBay for £175-ish. But even if you do go for the 8GB model, I doubt you'll be disappointed, just as long as you bear in mind that there may be some games you can't play (which won't even be an issue for some people).
