Does anyone know if these are reliable? I bought a plug-in battery pack for my iphone 3gs from here last year, and everytime I plugged it in, it charged for about 20 seconds before the iPhone rejected it saying it wasn't a compatible accessory.

I was wondering the same thing - can only seem to find one review on Amazon

Biggest problem for me is that it doesn't look as though it offers an sort of protection to the top of the phone. Hopefully the fact that the battery would make it bottom heavy would mean that any phone drops land on the battery side but it's not a risk I would want to take.

now £5.99!!!!
