iPray: Prayer Times & Qibla Free @ Google Play Store

SALE: Free for a limited time
Enjoy an ad-free, full-featured iPray that is being distributed as a gift for three days starting 14th to 17th, in preparation and anticipation for Ramadan this year! Please remember us in your prayers.

iPray offers a beautifully hand-crafted interface with both Prayer Times and Qibla compass displayed on the same screen - no switching between screens. You're sure to get accurate timings and athan alerts no matter where you are in the world. Its modern and simple to use interface offers you immense power and customizability under the hood. iPray "just works" out of the box with zero-configuration required.

PRAYER TIMES ( )
• Islamic prayer times for any location round the world
• An easy to read display with heads-up information about the current prayer in focus (either the currently active prayer or the next one in case it's starting soon). Prayers included are: Fajr, Sunrise / Salat al Doha, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha and Qiyam
• Smart status bar notification that doesn't just show you what's most important (current prayer's elapsed time, or upcoming prayer's count down), but also smartly gets demoted during the day so it's out of your way and promoted when a prayer is 30 minutes away. Your lock screen will automatically show you the next prayer information if it's within 30 minutes.
• Color coded display to show the progress of the current prayer. Severity begins with yellow, orange, red and bright red, indicating the current prayer is about to depart, so pray if you haven't already prayed.
• Optional 15 minutes reminders to remind you with a gentle 'knock knock' sound that the prayer is about to begin.
• Easy toggling of alerts from the main screen. Tap-hold to see more options.

MONTHLY TIMETABLE
• Simply rotate your device to view monthly timings; also accessible from the main menu.
• Hijri date and prayer timings for all the prayers (including Qiyam)
• Scroll down to automatically see timings for the following month.

QIBLA COMPASS ()
• A simple to use compass that's always on. The moment you launch iPray, the compass is ready, eager to show you the way.
• Full screen Qiblah locator mode with more information about the angle and distance to Mecca
• An optional Map-compass is included in case your device does not support a built-in magnetometer (or you want visually verify it)

ISLAMIC EVENTS
• Get to see the Islamic calendar with important dates such as start of Ramadan, Eid, Hajj etc

IMMERSIVE ANIMATIONS
• No matter what time you launch iPray, you'll always be greeted with a new scenery. Watch beautifully hand-crafted illustrations and subtle animations of moving clouds, the Sun, the Moon and the Stars over the lovely backdrop of the live sky-view.

ISLAMIC EVENTS (Coming soon)
• Easily determine when the important events of the hijri calendar year are (), including Ramadan, Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha

WIDGETS
• Although our Smart notification alert will serve the purpose of any widget, iPray comes bundled with three simplistic widgets to see prayer times on the desktop.
• One widget notifies you of the current salah, while another displays information about the next salah
• A widget that displays the full prayer times table for the day

CONFIGURABLE
• iPray lets you change every aspect of the calculation method used.
• Adjust individual salat times with addition / subtraction of minutes in case you wish to match timings from your local masjid
• Algorithm for Fajr and Isha detection can be configured to be: One Seventh, Angle Based, One Seventh Median and times based on Middle of the Night.
• Includes status bar updates for all prayers, including Qiyam al layl (Tahajjad prayer)
• Various Azans () and options for each namaz

Look no further, you've found the one and only prayer times app for muslims that does it all.

Or likes people who help themselves more so He doesn't have to deal with many people :P

I find using Qibla compasses, half the mosques in Birmingham point the wrong way

Jazakallah khair for posting. I've been looking for an app that can do this without intrusive ads.

It's based on calculations - every masjid has different salah times to suit the community

Great stuff!

this blue pic belong to some other app , which comes with Adds.

Really need an app that provides an interface for all Mosques to enter in their local timings, both start times and congregation times as well as maybe other alerts (that people can opt in/out). The amount of times people are visiting a city and want to know what time the Friday prayer is.

the difficulty would be getting mosques to sign up and update regularly. There's also the internal governance and control needed as to who has access to update the times and ensuring continuity.

Thanks. I find muslimpro to be spot on to my local mosque...so I will probably just use that. Wasn't too far off, within 10 minutes but still would rather it to be the right time.

I do like that this app gives you 15 minutes advance on prayer times - like a little nudge to do Wudu!

Thank you. I just replied to another poster above on this. Realistically it's quite a time consuming exercise but would be so great if they did regularly update the times...alternatively just pop on the local mosque website (like I did yesterday) to gauge far out timings are. I find muslim pro to be really accurate so will continue to use it, but I think this ap would be great if the timings were closer for my area.

For those looking for a app that updates the prayer times based on their local mosque I would definetly recommend the the MyMosque app. Click the links below:

Android: play.google.com/sto…_GB

Apple: itunes.apple.com/gb/…t=8

I live in Nottingham and 4 of the mosques that i attend have signed up and keep the timetable up to date on a monthly basis. The best part is that they actually have the jamaat times too.

I understand why you would grieve for this, or even be angry. I appreciate you have intense love for humanity, so don't want suffering to exist. This may not be the best place to manifest your care, as it may be perceived as trolling. Pain is our fallible perception. Eternal bliss cannot be compared with a moment of suffering (either at birth or at death) in comparison. Also, focus on the blessing we have. The amount of times in a day we experience love and safety. celebrate life, not death. pain is the anomaly, the norm is a banquet of blessing for the lovers eye that precieves.
