Ireland £5 return (Day Cruise) Stenaline Holyhead - Dublin & Fishguard - Rosslare sail to
either Dublin or Wexford (Rosslare).

Update: Holyhead to Dun laoghaire is now also £5 return
Belfast to Cairnryan (Scotland) is £12 return (and the other way around) on the super fast ferry.

The rules state you can't get off in Ireland, but plenty of people have confirmed this is not checked or enforced. Irish boarder control only want to see your passport.

To book UK to Ireland stenaline.co.uk/fer…ps/

SO If you want to book a ferry back ;-) its 5 Euros
stenaline.ie/cru…ses

You only have to book 48 hrs in advance. Travel up to Sept 10th.

Trains run from Rosslare and Dublin port is in Dublin.
Book trains here irishrail.ie/
Bus Eiranne are running a 5 euro deal on their expressway coaches from Dublin and Wexford to all major cities in Ireland.
Book hotels at trivago.Co.UK very nice hotels in Ireland are REALLY cheap.

Megabus do cheap buses to hollyhead and you can get cheap trains on the trainline.Co.UK if you book early.

If you do want to take the kids, just as the return day trip, I used to love going on the ferry as a kid, the boat is nice enough, spacious, free wifi, big area on deck (big enough to play 5 a side) they play free films (new) and children love going on adventures.

Very interesting deal, but it literally is a day on the Irish sea, the travel times are so long! Fantastic find though

3 hr 15 to Dub and 3hr 30 to Rosslare (Wexford) The plane is faster.

Interesting.
Just don't use the trainline to book rail tickets. Loads of alternative sites with NO extra charges over cost of ticket ie no bbooking fees, postage or credit card fees and some with £back too (and of course Tesco clubcard double value with redspottedhanky)

I've always used virgin trains. I think you can book any trains through them, even alternative carriers. No booking fee, always the cheapest.

tpexpress dont charge a service charge.

They should be paying you to sit on a car ferry all day buying their food. "Cruise?" Ha! Still, there's one born every minute!

arent these just "cruises" from ireland to wales and back only where your not allowed to get off? Really pointless if it is.

If you read the offer, its a non landing trip for 5 Euros. It's 35 Euros for a passenger day trip to get off!!

Theres also a day trip for £10. http://www.stenaline.co.uk/ferry/daytrips-cruises
• Take advantage of great shopping and dining deals
• Enjoy the afternoon in Dun Laoghaire or Dublin
• Available Sunday – Thursday
• Travel up to 10 September
• Book by 8 September

They don't stop you getting off the boat and Irish border control couldn't care less if you want to visit Ireland as long as you have your passport. There are loads of people doing it the other way around

If your the type that unnecessarily worries, use a prepaid card to book, or book a day trip to dub for £10 stenaline.co.uk/fer…ses

I wouldn't say it's an unnecessary worry. They get a spike in bookings, do a quick search and find this thread where people are encouraged to defraud them, so they start checking. If I'd travelled all that way expecting to get off in Dublin I wouldn't risk it for the sake of £5.

Nobody is encouraging anybody to do what you have suggested, it would be wise to remove your accusation from your comments.

You can book a return day trip from the same link for £10. Allowing you to get off.

Erm yes, which is why I said "for the sake of £5". And of course you're encouraging them to get off the boat without paying for the privilege.

No I am not, and you should be far more careful about throwing around unsubstantiated accusations.

I have read your previous comments and it is clear that You are a Troll. You are unwelcome on my deals, I have marked your future messages to ignore. Enjoy annoying other people which are trying to help each other out by POSTING DEALS.

Sorry - I can't hear you "Doctor" - your horse is too high. I hope your balance is good as it's quite a feat staying up there with your fingers in your ears!
